Killing Eve: Hello, Losers (2022)
perfect tragic ending
Everyone will say what they want about this finale, but personally I found it to be the perfect tragic ending to a series that I knew was going to have a tragic ending. And after the initial shock of the end of Carolyn ordering the death of Villanelle, it took me a little bit to realize why it happened.
It makes perfect sense though, because as we already know, Carolyn was original Twelve, and all this time she was playing the long game of having people do her job for her, she just ended up getting extremely lucky in the case of Villanelle and Eve. Once she realize the connection between the two of them, the power of Villanelle and the way in which Carolyn could manipulate circumstances into controlling Villanelle's actions.
When Villanelle goes in to assassinate the Twelve at the end, she is doing all of Carolyn's dirty work for her. And it's all because Carolyn recognized the connection between Eve and Villanelle in season 1. The whole time Carolyn had been playing Eve and using Villanelle to kill her way back into MI6 as well as to be the last member of the Twelve standing.
By using and then subsequently killing Villanelle, who was so interwoven into the Twelve, Carolyn uses everything to her advantage, and in the end "kills" Eve not physically, but emotionally.
10/10 I love this series so much and I find this to be the a perfect tragic ending.
MPower (2023)
The Women of Marvel are the Future
MPower is a beautiful documentary series that dives into the beloved women within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the actresses that play them!
Each episode provides the audience with a deep dive into the characters as well as the actresses themselves and a number of production members of these projects as well.
Not only has the MCU given proper representation to powerful women, but they constantly do it in such a realistic and inspirational way. As a series this is a documentary which is all about the power of women within Marvel, and adds to the growing representation of powerful women that young girls have the opportunity to look up to today!
This documentary is simply about the powerful women of Marvel, and the amazing role models they play bring representation where there never was before!!!
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022)
You'll like her when she's angry :)
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is hilarious and action filled, and as a one who has read her comics it's the perfect adaptation!!! To all those negative reviews complaining that it's bad because she's better than Bruce clearly aren't real fans. Yeah she is better than Bruce! It's literally been printed and proven in the comics multiple times! Just read the source material! This show is just the beginning of a wonderful new era of green!!!
Ms. Marvel (2022)
Ms. Marvel in Live-Action!!!
Just from episode one I adore this show! It really has brought Kamala Khan from the comics right on screen perfectly. As a reader of Ms. Marvel from the beginning I absolutely love the way they've adapted it to TV, all changes included!
iCarly: iDragged Him (2022)
One of the best!
This is one of my favorite episodes! By bringing together iCarly from my childhood and my love of drag from today and mashing them together to create something hysterical and iconic!
Resident Alien: Girls' Night (2022)
Girls Night !!
Don't listen to the sexists leaving 1 star reviews on the episode. It's an episode that addresses real life problems (the wage gap very much is real despite what MANY MEN falsely believe) and it's done in the perfect Resident Alien style. In all seriousness I laughed out loud the most more than any other episode. All the negative reviews are solely coming from a place of misogyny and sexism.
Riverdale: Chapter Ninety-Nine: The Witching Hour(s) (2021)
sabrina's back !
I've never watched riverdale before. Solely watched this to see the return of sabrina spellman and it was.... meh. I love kiernan as an actress and love sabrina as a character. But it felt like they just kind of awkwardly threw her into this episode, and it makes it even stranger after the ending of CAoS.
