I went blindly on this one so it shocked me. I was keep watching though because I hoped there were been less traumatic scenes. I loved the cast and their chemistry. The scenery and the story was nice too. But the cannibalism part, no. Just no. I was feeling queasiness for real. I recommend this movie to people who don't have such issues. I love this show but I still don't know what's exactly going on. If this show cancels, I will be really disappointed. I believe everything was perfect. The plot, the cast and the cinematography. The games were intense, I had agony in each of them. The cast was likeable. Even the villains had an interest because some were strong and some mysterious. We need a season 3! Well 8 bc i liked the movie but i felt something is missing. Maybe a bit more action or more dialogue with boy's grandma or with tribe? As a European, I enjoyed it. Desert, native Americans, cowboys are unfamiliar for us so western movies are pretty interesting. The scenery was amazing, the movie is slow with few dialogs but its ok for me. Its western. The cast was solid and I liked the atmospheric scenes too. Jason had only 3 scenes indeed but I didn't mind that either. We need more movies like this. This movie hasn't much action so I recommend to people who want to watch a beautiful /dramatic story......

So, I watched this movie because I love Asian movies. But as a European,I have limited access to them. This movie is well known so I said why not? Well 2,5 hours I will never get back. The first half is boring. Nothing happens literally. The 2nd half has some twists but OK. The uncle is twisted but in a dirty way which I didnt want to see. I didnt want to see the romance either. I don't recommend this movie. If you really want to see an Asian historical movie,go watch hero(2002) and many similar Chinese movies which I loved. But not this. Idk maybe it was just not for me. I felt uncomfortable and cringe.

Why should i watch a mother give away her child? I understand that this happened because it was the best for her child. But still... No one asked if i wanted to watch so heavy drama scene. Overall the movie is very slow with no action. Not every movie need to be action movie ofc, but it wasn't interesting for me. I watched only because it is sci fi. I don't recommend.

So crazy and weird, i loved every minute of it. I am a fan of asian culture , so I enjoyed the movie full. The only thing i didn't get, it was the reason the good samurai fought nicolas cage. I understand that he wanted to die , i have to check it though.

I watched the movie because i like asian movies. I have seen similar movies like drama, so the problem isn't that the movie wasn't action or something. We see a girl in so many scenes, but we don't have a closure in the end. If they had a scene together at least, the movie would be better.

I am a bit confused but i enjoyed the movie overall. I didn't understand who and why attacked olga with fishes out of the home. Also, she went mad but the movie never explained the conversation between her and the innocent guy. In the end, Olga seems well but her husband seems stucked. I understand this but I am not 100% sure. I expected the plot and the ending but i enjoyed the scenery.

I don't mind that the movie is dull or slow, i like these movies too. The trailer doesn't show an action movie either way. But with so many questions, it left me with an empty feeling. What happened on Earth and Mars? Where the others came from? Also, to leave the robot behind, is a big no from me.

Well, I am not into this opera thing and the beating was very disturbing for me.I felt the whole movie very real though and that they made the best result with that concept. 9 stars only because I think it is too long.
