I started watching this on Halloween. Got bored. Finally finished today on New Year's Eve. Somehow.

Apparently for me it was a very tedious watch. Pointless. Non-conclusive. Not at all engaging. Whenever films try to be tooo artsyyyy, I am not able to enjoy them. Movies which tries to take themselves too seriously usually are a no no for me. Ehhhhh.

Take Off (2017)

Enjoyed watching it, good performances by almost everyone. And very apt comparison between their tragic regular lives and horrific war.

Lacks in few things - bad make-up, feels stretched, some of the actors.

Very engaging & entertaining. Great performances by everyone.

*Little spoiler* Only inconsistent scene is when Hannibal escape - earlier he was kept in super high level security and after the shift there were only two old cops with no immediate radio/phone to inform others in case of emergency. Otherwise very clever and interesting story.

The acting part was bit silly. Otherwise quite good and very important documentary. I was already quite aware about almost all the hazards & consequences of social media but never knew how to properly explain it to someone else in short. So this would be helpful. Many great lines which will come handy in my essays. :D

Only complain: What kind of subtitle is *film playing in a theatre* ? The scene selected to be shown in the film must be of some significance to the story. #Prime

Also it have 18+ rating? Really? But the current situation is such that we should be happy it didn't get ban. You never know. :/

Emotionally I am still at Before Sunrise stage (hopeless romantic) but somehow my mental state is similar to Celine from Before Sunset. And it's super sad 'cause I never even meet any Jesse. :D

Where they find such amazing people who do such cool conversation? No one around me talks about emotions, rights, pleasure of little things and certainly don't talk about love.

This one is certainly least relatable & enjoyable for me. May be after some years I will be able to fully appreciate it. But first half feels really dragged, I liked second half more.

It was sad and depressing. But I didn't even tear up - and I am the kind of person who cry very easily in films. May it was too subtle for my taste 'cause I love good melodrama and heavy emotional dialogues. :D

On technical level I could see that this is a good film. And when I realized it is based on true story it made it so tragic. Kids with guns is one of the most upsetting site.

But tbh, I didn't like it very much. May be cultural difference or language barrier, I was not very invested in the characters. Or maybe I not fan of this genre. :/
