Poor story just like comics of 1990s
30 December 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Everybody is important but nothing really matters? How many "Gods" can their be? We all can't be equally matched. Eureka... We'll all work together! (( what a clever and original script - Not! )) And don't get me started, lol. Who is The Vision and why do we care? Was his climax with his girlfriend supposed to be stirring? It was awful soap opera. At least The Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor and Spidey have funny lines. Just turn your clocks back and try to forget.

waste of time
19 July 2017
Warning: Spoilers
There is no protagonist. No one is who they say they are. You know everyone is going to die from the first shot but it take 3 hours before they all die. Save your time and assassinate this from your watch list. It deserves a bullet to the projector (or DVD player). Kurt Russell is the best thing going on here (best looking, best character and best actor) and as I recall he is the first to die. Even Tim Roth and Bruce Dern (both who I was looking forward to watching) are not enough to save this film. This is not at all like Django or Inglorious Basterds - both get a 10 from me. This is a bad remake of RezDogs with beautiful horses and dirty, dusty, filthy cowboys.

Constantine (2014–2015)

This is the Constantine I grew up with!
27 October 2014
Why is this so good? Probably for the simple reason that Jamie Delano, Garth Ennis & Alan Moore are on board. These 2 made the comic I loved soar when I subscribed to it all those years ago. That's right, this is no Keanu Reeves version of our favorite Hellblazer. This is the real deal. His compatriots are back. His story arc and background story intact. I just finished episode 1 and like Gothem having Frank Miller & Bob Kane (probably the best writers of Batman comics and going way back ) on the writing staff, this show Constantine will be appreciated by fans for what hopefully will be a sustained effort at excellence in writing and faithfulness to character. The Hellblazer of Alan Moore and Garth Ennis is a deeply flawed and nuanced John Constantine and with Chaz and Zed at his side this wrecking crew are sure to make a dent in hell's plots.

Other Comic luminaries that worked on the monumental character are Dave McKean, Grant Morrison, Neil Gaiman and Stephen Bissette. Let's hope this television series will do a fitting tribute to the excellence of writing and artistic talent due to its pedigree.

More than delightful child's kung fu fantasy comedy.
23 October 2014
Almost never do I review a movie or award 10 stars. This Movie will surprise you. You may think this is just a delightful child's Kung-Fu fantasy comedy, but follow through to the end for a truly beautiful, profound and moving journey. Not only does this movie cover many of the concepts of Kung Fu and the elements of fantasy, it has fantastic effects, beautiful settings filled with wonderment, a lovely musical score and is a mind blowing tribute to all the highest ideals of Buddhism. Don't let go of a single minute. Enjoy every aspect of this witty film until the end. You will be surprised by the final minutes of this film's moving ending. To all those who know Buddhism you will see many allusions and tributes to the precepts and attributes of the belief system. To all those to whom Buddhism remains a mystery this will surely delight.
