Bridgerton (2020)
Don't listen to the nay-sayers
I don't know why there are so many negative reviews, the show is fun, colorful, and very similar to Hamilton in that it's a modern cast in a "historical" setting. If you like period pieces, Jane Austin, romance novels, Hamilton, gossip girl (which to be honest I've never watched but it there's a storyline that is what I expect gossip girl to be), or even just shondaland shows then I recommend giving it a go.
The Right Stuff (2020)
Don't listen to the nay-sayers
I'm a fan of pretty much anything to do with the space race so I wasn't about to pass this show up, regardless of the reviews. Don't listen to the nay-sayers. The Right Stuff has an amazing cast, beautiful production, stellar writing. The Right Stuff is more of a character drama than about NASA; and, while these men may be heroes, they are no gods, and far from perfect. The Right Stuff does not skimp on their infidelity, alcoholism, and jealousy. I was honestly a bit surprised that it's airing on Disney+. If you're looking for a historical drama similar in tone to The Crown or The Astronaut Wives Club you've come to the right place. If you're looking for fantastical men who do no wrong and space ships that go real fast maybe look elsewhere - but I encourage you to give it a try. I hear it got picked up for a second season! I will absolutely be continuing to watch for as long as they make episodes.
Ted Bundy: Falling for a Killer (2020)
Focuses on who should be remembered: The Victims
An absolutely extraordinary true crime doc that finally pays tribute to the the victims of a killer instead of trying to humanize the monster within. Maybe about 20 minutes of the full five episodes focuses on the feminist movement and honestly it's an important part to the narrative of the victims. Don't let the nay-sayers sway you away - this is the best Bundy doc I've watched and one of the best true crime docs overall.
