My Favourite movie of 2018! Millenial Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam
11 December 2021
Watch it for the sheer chemistry and the powerful performances of all the protagonists. The songs, The dialogues, The emotionally charged climax and the sheer stubbornness some people to make a failed relationship work and failing over and over is so clearly depicted. It takes you back to your School/College days when you were a different person just to attain and keep someone even when everyone around you knows the ship is doomed.

Taapsee is just a girl in love who wants just that and her journey to be adamant and then eventually compromise for true happiness is beautiful to watch. Like the phrase ' Just when the caterpillar thought its life was over, It became a butterfly!'

Your Lockdown Stale Banana Bread

Well well well Hey there Upper Yeast Siders.

Gossip Girl here.

Your one and only source into the scandalous lives of New Yorks Elite Oh Audrey have you no flair? Trying and failing miserably to be Blair?

Julien Oh Julien. A wannabe Obie contessa whereas you are just a Budget Vanessa.

A Serena stand in cast without giving much thought? That would be the wooden face Zoya Lott.

No-one will cry Wolfe over the poor man's Bass without any sass.

Luna And Monet are fillers that need their own fillers. Pun intended

they say imitation is the best form of flattery. But what do you do when everything falls flat?

You don't need cancel culture to cancel something that never truly began.

XOXO Loyal GG Lover.

Crisp Writing and a Believable Climax
24 May 2021
The movie is completely a fresh take on story telling where content is key and pace is king.

The strength lies in the crispness of the script.

Arjun & Parineeti have acted well. Neena Gupta and Raghuvir Yadav are excellent.

Jaideep Ahlawat shines as the mega villain.

What I loved was they did not give the story a typical Hindi movie End.

They kept it real and raw. Cinematography is good but some scenes are too dark.

Overall its a popcorn-filled edge of your seat watch.

Nothing short of Brilliance. Beat your COVID blues!

I had been in awe of the Sheer brilliance of Oriol Paulo and what began as a bewildering amusement ended with a sure shot obsession of trying to emulate a style of creating suspense in story from my side whenever I wrote something.

The Body, The Invisible guest & Mirage are 3 other gems by the director and he has proved his raw talent time and again and I believe he hits it out of the park with 'The Innocent'.

I just finished 3 episodes and just made myself tea to binge this gem tonight. The twists and turns every 10 minutes will keep you going. If you are someone who likes mysterious tales like these, this one will keep you thoroughly entertained and you are constantly taking mental notes to make sense of everything.

The reveals are so subtle and non chalantly woven into the fabric that you feel you are Lorena Ortiz and this is your case to solve.

Highly recommend this beautifully written and shot show. For me , The innocent is Chef's Kiss.
