Shadow and Bone (2021–2023)

Excellent season but 8 episodes too short.

Shadow and Bone first season was great and so I got high hopes for season 2 and it did not disappoint.

The newly introduced characters are all good and do their job good.

To me the only downside of this season is that it is only 8 episodes and you start to see that in some series this really hurts the show in that things are rushed or certain backstories aren't told or also rushed.

Especially the last episode felt a lot like they needed to add a lot of scenes to skip timelines and put the story in play for next season.

I don't know if the show has the freedom to do more episodes or that it is something that is forced by Netflix but I do wonder if the show would be even better if it had for example 10 or 12 episodes a season.

The Recruit (2022– )

Fun show in Jack Ryan style

When I first read about this series I thought directly about Jack Ryan as it seems to be a somewhat similar story where instead of being an analyst he is a jurist.

The show is easy to watch and characters all have their own uniqueness and also good they give it time to show some backstory already and cannot wait to see how it would develop if and when season two comes.

Also how his friends stay in the story is written good and could use a bit more depth into exploring their backgrounds.

The only downside I have with this show but is getting more and more common is that it has only 8 episodes, which for me is on the short end as things often get rushed while if it would have for example 10 episodes you could focus a bit more on important things and not shorten them so much.

Wednesday (2022– )

Main character good rest of addams family could be better.

Jenna is really crushing it in the role of Wednesday. Every scene with her is just superb.

Catherina Zeta Jones is okay as her mother but just misses something.

I really don't like the character that potress Gomez but since the show is mostly about Wednesday at school the amount of screentime for both parents is minimal so it is not that big of a problem.

Just wondering for future seasons if that is going to be a downside but we will see.

The CGI could be a bit better so lets hope they have a bit more cash for it next season as that for me is the only real downside of the series and if CGI and cast would be a bit better it would easily get a 10 as the story is really good in my opinion.

Shame we see so many series on Netflix with only 8 episodes while it makes binge watching a lot easier I do feel some things could be better if it has 10 episodes for example as sometimes thing go to quickly.

Space Force (2020–2022)

It got a lot better once they get a bit more serious with the going to space.

In the first 20 minutes I had a couple of moments where I was almost shutting it down as it was just a bit over the top with bad comedy. Once the characters are a bit better introduced and especially the last 3 episodes are I think quite good and I actually look forward to see a second season.

Fun movie to watch on a sundaynight

I watched this movie on sunday in the sneak preview and it was a fun movie to watch. It is a mix of comedy and action and on both they deliver well enough in my opinion. I did not know directly that the one having the leadrole play Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy so that surprised me. He did solid acting, the girl could do a bit better but overall a fun movie to watch and it gets a solid 7 from me.

Tomb Raider (2018)

Enjoyable movie and loving the new Lara Croft!

I watched the movie last night and really liked it. I've never played any of the tomb raider games so I just look at it as any other action movie and think this was a very okay movie. I watched a long time ago Angelina Jolie as Tomb Raider and never liked it because they just go overboard with the whole female big ass and big boobs.

This movie shows a whole other side of Lara Croft and I personally like it much better. It's not set up like your typical one man hero movie and I hope we see more of her in future Tomb Raider movies!

Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017)

Good sequel but strange decisions.

The first Kingsman was very good and the second part didn't disappoint either. The action and effects were comparable with the first movie but think the story of the second movie was not that good. The movie had a nice pace of action from start to end and the acting was very good.

In the first movie Samual L. Jackson was outstanding as the bad guy but think this movie lacked someone like that.
