The Lobster (2015)
It should be illegal to make movies this bad
Fake scenarios seems like a fun concept. But fake people in fake scenarios... i.e. People behaving in ways that no human would behave, in a world that couldn't be real and a premise that is ridiculous... that makes for the worst movie I have ever forced myself to watch.
From start to finish the plot is ridiculous and everyone behaves like they are an alien. My first question is why do stars like Rachel Weisz and Colin Ferrell want to act in absolute pieces of garbage like this film? My second question is how does it have as much as 7.1?
And thirdly, most importantly, how can the makers of this film actually get to make it? Making a movie like this, weird for the sake of weird but without any sort of meaning or substance, should be illegal.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005)
Turns from the funniest piece of TV of all time into a children's show
So seasons 1-6 (some of s7 incl frank's little beauties and especially "the anti-social network") is most likely the funniest, best piece of TV ever made. Quite literally.
However, after s7 it turns into a cartoon. Something only children could find funny. It's so sad. If you are that lazy, just quit while you're ahead. Also people, don't feed ppl's egos. Clearly they can't handle it.
I apparently have to write 200 more words. What can i say? Turns from being literally the funniest tv show of all time into something only kids could pissibly Enjoy. Idk what it is. Maybe it just got to rob glenn and charlie's heads....
Don't Look Up (2021)
Quite possibly the worst movie of all time
If you were told a comet was headed directly toward the earth and we were all going to die - how would you react?
Adam McKay said (to the movie's "haters") something to the effect of "if you don't like our movie you are part of the problem", meaning if you don't like one of the worst movies of all time, it must be for political / anti-science reasons, i.e. You don't believe in climate change which the comet is supposed to symbolize.
It couldn't be that you just find the premise completely ridiculous and the movie to be horrendous...
I am 100% a believer in climate change, but I had to turn this travesty off after 30 minutes when it forced ridiculous political symbolism on me minute after minute after minute. Like Meryl Streep, as president, laughing when she gets to hear that we are all headed for certain destruction in a few months.
Shutter Island (2010)
The best movie ever made
There is no film in history that could compete with this masterpiece.
Se upp för Jönssonligan (2020)
This is not Jönssonligan. Unfathomably bad
Surely the original Jönssonligan movies were family entertainment, but why reboot the franchise as entertainment that only children could possibly appreciate?
Henrik Dorsin is a genius actor/comedian but clearly he should not be behind the camera. With this and "Åsa-Nisse: Wälcom to Knohult" on his belt, he too must see that it is time to call it quits as a screenwriter.
Thomas Alfredsson is someone else I held great respect for before witnessing this travesty. The "Bert" series was amazing for instance. But perhaps he has brought too much of the kids entertainment from that into the rest of his work.
The creators have clearly misunderstood what Jönssonligan is (was), as is evident by the seriously miscast actors (especially Vanheden and Dynamit-Harry).
Apparently Alfredsson was upset that this went straight to streaming/TV. In my book however, it should not have been shown at all. Let's just hope that they will get the gist and cancel any plans for continuation of the rebooted (butchered) franchise.
Designated Survivor (2016)
Extremely unrealistic and bad
If you are a small child, or mentally challenged, you will like this show.
As is getting more and more common, poor writing is the issue. Everyone likes popcorn action but this can only appeal to people with below average iq.
I suggest watching Homeland which is a show that actually
Seven Psychopaths (2012)
One of the BEST movies I have seen in YEARS.
This has got to be one of the best things I have seen in years and years... I am sitting here in shock, expecting much but never being close to imagining it would be this great.
McDonagh has truly outdone himself. However spectacular In Bruges was, this is better. It is, in my opinion, truly one of the best gangster movies ever made - on par with e.g. Pulp Fiction. Moreover, the extremely cleverly written script often had me gasping for air because it was so g.d. funny. The cast is furthermore amazing. Christopher Walken is as brilliant as ever and Sam Rockwell possibly delivers the performance of his career.
Watch it!
BTW, How does it not have a higher rating than 7.5???
30 Rock (2006)
Quite possibly the worst TV show of all time
Yes, I said it. And I believe it to be true. Could you make a TV show worse than this? One thing I know for sure, at least - Tina Fey is the most talentless person ever to walk the streets of Hollywood. Such a shame, considering there are so many talented people waiting to get a shot. Tina Fey single-handedly ruined her generation of SNL, and she once again proves her extreme lack of talent in this show. Why would someone as unfunny as her choose a career like this? I don't get it. It's so sad that she truly has succeeded. If there's anyone I wish the worst for in her life and her career, it's Tina Fey. Hollwood's worst performer/person OF ALL TIME. Furthermore, I dare you, if you laugh for one second during 7 seasons of this abomination of a show, I will pay you 10000000 dollars.
The League (2009)
A show about douches
This is quite possibly the worst show on TV. Right after FX's utterly brilliant It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, this comes on. It is a show about a gang of completely unlikeable douches where one guy is douchier than the next. The script is beyond awful, there are no real funny moments at all, and in the end you are just left wanting to punch the cast in the face. Again, I guess it bottles down to the writing. Except for the ever horrible Mark Duplass, the cast actually does good in other things (like Nick Kroll's great job in The Life & Times of Tim). However, as is, this is unwatchable garbage. I'm sorry FX, I know you wanted this to be another hit like Sunny, but it's just dreadful. Cancel ASAP please. If not, the only way of saving it would be through removing Mark Duplass and bringing in new writers, sacking the old ones).
Mr. Nobody (2009)
It's all random
I usually like these kinds of movies. Imaginary ones, where everything isn't always as it seems. I loved 'Eternal sunshine for the spotless mind', for instance.
However, this is pure trash. I actually sat through the whole movie because it seemed like something I would like, and by the end I was hoping it would have a twist or come to a conclusion.
But it's all random. The whole movie is random. The women he's married to, what he is doing, how he grew up, where he grew up. I realise that that's the idea behind the film, but what is the point? There is no character development whatsoever. One of his wives (just those words seem silly) is severely depressed one minute and the next minute she's dead and has been so since the wedding day. Everything is interchangeable and you realise how easy this movie must have been to make. Just put dramatic scenes in there and you win the audience. Obviously, seeing how everyone seems to think this is "brilliant" and "a masterpiece" etc.
I can tell you all, as a warning: it is not. It is one of the worst movies I have ever forced myself to watch. This is not a story, it's just random, interchangeable dramatic scenes.
