Looks like a homework from a bunch of students of first year: bad editing, bad acting and worst screenplay ever!!! Seriously, the people who donated for make this film would be outrageous.

A regular tribute to Pedro Infante

The film has its best moments when it becomes a tribute to Pedro Infante (Omar Chaparro manages to imitate Pedro's voice perfectly), and to have good comedy moments that remind us again and again of Infante's work.
However, the film also raises the idea that Pedro must be re-educated to leave machismo behind and adopt more feminist positions. And it is in this sense where the film fails, when it tries to insert the feminist message, that although it is implicitly left over and makes the good rhythm of the plot be interrupted by such scolding.

Favreau and Filoni give all the western style to the new product from the Star Wars franchise, and it's very refreshing. All is here, the vehicles, the usual faces, the droids, etc. Everything you love from this franchise is back!
But now here everything works for the good, with a simple and direct premise we follow our favorite bounty hunter in his quest for find a very mysterious asset with all the fun and the action you'll expect.

The awful truth

Scott Z. Burns presents a difficult film, in the narrative as in the subject it raises. Throughout 2 hours we are told how Dan Jones prepared, defended and fought to publish his report of more than 7 thousand pages.
To be as faithful to the original story, Burns presents us with an immense amount of names, dates, and situations that may not be very familiar to the public other than the American, yet the essence of the film is to be a shout against of torture and methods of coercion by governments.
Adam Driver who carries the full weight of the film gives us a remarkable and very convincing performance through which we can fully identify with the subject in question.
It is not an easy movie because the amount of information on which it is based asks the viewer for finer attention, however, Burns manages to move forward and bring the story to a bright and hoping conclusion.

The other "Shining"

Although a bit long and at times tedious, Mike Flanagan makes a good attempt to connect two visions of the same story: King's and Kubrick's. However, although King was happy with the result, references to Kubrick's work are left over, so much so that in the film we can see in flashes Jack Nicholson and another actor who looks like Jack Nicholson. When the movie moves forward without relying on the previous movie "it shines", it is when it tries to emulate what Kubrick did when the panorama is clouded. It is appreciated to see the inventiveness of Flanagan in the different sequences of "astral travel", and especially in the way he guided Mc Gregor and Ferguson who perform very convincing performances.
In general it is very enjoyable, although I think it was left over half an hour.
