The Crime of the Century (2021)
Spot On!
I managed a physician's office during this era. This documentary is 100% spot on. The pharmaceutical representatives that came into the office every day were worse than snake-oil sales people. Big Pharma would send the hottest women, the hottest men, then they would compliment you over and over and over again all while you were getting your free lunch paid for by, you guessed it, Big Pharma. The women looked like prostitutes, and the men like GQ guys. They tried so hard to be your best friend. Then they would set up sponsored, FREE steak and lobster dinners with unlimited cocktails at the best restaurants, as long as someone spoke about the efficacy of the drug they were marketing for five minutes. Let's not even talk about the "free" box-seat tickets they tried to bribe you with. Thank goodness we saw through their BS.
What a sick industry.
Dexter: New Blood: Sins of the Father (2022)
Way too many holes.
If Dexter had just stayed in the jail cell until Angela came back from Kurt's bunker, he probably would have been exonerated. But no. He had to kill Logan, making it obvious he was the Bay Harbor Butcher. AND, what is Harrison going to do now? Where can he go with just a few bucks and a clunker of a truck? This was just too rushed. Too many loose ends.
Blindness (2008)
I think I lost IQ points watching this movie.
Great concept, but no mention of the cause of the blindness, why the main character was immune, and why she stuck around when she could still see and help everyone. Also, with the ending, it's just cut off. So many plot holes. So much stupidity. Whoever wrote this script should re-evaluate their career.
Eli (2019)
Loved the twist!
Awesome movie! The twist was awesome! A must see. Kudos to Netflix.
The Witch in the Window (2018)
Great underrated movie
This is a spooky mystery about a father and son bonding while fixing up an old house. Kept me glued the entire time and it had a great ending.
The only reason this movie is rated so low is because of one negative reference about Trump.
Eighth Grade (2018)
Like, seriously?
I think I lost 10 IQ points watching this. If this is really a representation of today's youth in America, we are doomed.
Marianne (2019)
Excellent show!
Great acting, great story, great horror. I would really like to see the original in French though, without the dubbing.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)
War of the Titans
This movie is more about the other monsters than Godzilla himself.
The Suicide Theory (2014)
Brilliant movie!
Wow!!!!!! A brilliant existential film. I Don't know why it's only rated a 6.5. A must see for the serious thinker.
