For All Mankind: Rules of Engagement (2021)
Warmongering Americans
The American answer to everthing -more guns.
How sad that in alternative reality they are still hell-bent on starting a world war.
This time it's on another world -the moon.
No wonder mankind is doomed.
Let's hope the next episode gets back on track with the space programme instead of the patriotic flag-waving sosp opera of the naval family shenanigans.
I teally do not want to type any more so here is the US naval song lyrics to keep the uneducated blood thirsty patriots happy.

Anchors Aweigh
/
Lyrics
Stand Navy out to sea,
Fight our battle cry
We'll never change our course,
So vicious foe steer shy-y-y-y.
Roll out the TNT,
Anchors Aweigh.
Sail on to victory
And sink their bones to Davy Jones, hooray!
Anchors Aweigh, my boys,
Anchors Aweigh.
Farewell to foreign shores,
We sail at break of day-ay-ay-ay.
Through our last night ashore,
Drink to the foam,
Until we meet once more.
Here's wishing you a happy voyage home.
Blue of the mighty deep
Gold of God's great sun.
Let these our colors be
Till all of time be done, done, done, done.
On seven seas we learn
Navy's stern call
Faith, courage, service true,
With honor, over honor, over all.
Six Feet Under (2001)
Unlikeable characters.
I am bemused why this shows gets so many 10 ratings and greatest show ever reviews.
I started watching this after binge watching Dexter old and new.
These characters are so unlikeable that I have no interest in what happens to them.
I almost wish that Dexter would turn up and dispatch them to put me and them out of their misery.
I have skipped from season 1 to the fonal highly 9.9 type episodes to see what is so sensational about this writing.
I hope that it is some kind of zombie apocalypse and they meet a grizzly ending.
Continued...Now einding another 67 characters to write about this borefest is almost as tedious as watching this show.
Dead Canny (2022)
A Canny View Pet
Whey a just watched episode one on UKTV and it's a canny decent time filla like.
Decent cast and concept but seems to be lacking a bit life.
Looks quite low budget and might be better suited to cBBC if not for the swearing.
But has the potential to hold one's interest.
Some viewers might struggle with the accents and dialect.
The Orville (2017)
What happened to the comedy?
This show has been taking itself far too serious since the start of season 3.
And what is with the cringeworthy sining ing the last few episodes?
It was so corny that I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be a joke.
The gender politics of the half this season was also quite tedious.
There is also a lot more CGi now if that is your bag but I would prefer more laughs.
I think I gave The Orville a rating of 10 after season 1 but I now find myself changing this each week and probably now down to a 7.
Richard Hammond's Brain Reaction (2022)
Brain dead
This programme is an insult to the intelligence.
The main brain reaction it will induce is a coma.
It is peurile crap.
In episode 1 they spent 6 minutes just deciding who would do a blind taste test on some pureed food.
Even the participants seem to know how bad this is.
Give it a miss.
Living with Yourself (2019)
Addictive
Just binge watched whole series on first day.
It started off looking like it could be a clone of Multiplicity but then had elements of Back to the Future 2.
Good acting from the main 3 characters ;)
Aisling Bea especially surprised me.
More nice dark humorous than hilarious.
A second series would be interesting.
Upstart Crow: The Quality of Mercy (2016)
Bob
Kate? That's a strange name for a girl.
It's short for Bob.
A treat for Blackadder 2 nostalgists.
Was it really over 30 years ago?
Black Mirror: USS Callister (2017)
A refreshing light hearted change.
Ignore the Trekkie nerds giving this a low rating for so called plot holes. This episode was very funny in parts and a pleasant change from the usual Black Mirror theme.
It reminded me a bit of The Orville and would deserve to be made into it's own mini series.
I wonder what would happen if Brooker and Seth MacFarlane co-wrote an episode.
Good Kill (2014)
You can't handle the truth.
US Patriots will hate this.
An insight into the CIA led American war machine that sadly the UK are party to.
Ethan Hawke plays a veteran pilot battling his morals more than al Qaeda or the Taliban.
Set in Las Vegas 1000s miles from any warzone... ask yourself would you do this?
My neighbours 5 year old girl is currently frolicking happily but noisily in the garden mid summer. Should I get my gun?
Before We Go (2014)
Lost in Translation in New York?
Feel good film.
Just watched this on Film4 in the UK.
Having been stranded in New York oneself aged 24 I was hooked from the start.
Both main characters were brilliant even though she was a pain in the arse at Grand Central Station and I probably might not have been so chivalrous.
Complicated characters keep you watching to find out truths. Funny scenes trying to make money to get home.
It was a slightly Planes Trains Automobiles ending until I just had to read another reviewers concept of 'Turn Over' meant at the end.
It's saved on my Tevo. Will watch again on a rainy day.
You've Been Framed! (1990)
Sadistic dimwits heaven.
This show should have been buried with Beadle. It was utter tedium then but amazingly got worse when Lisa Riley became host.
It has now climbed to the lofty heights of 1 out of 10 because Harry Hill is slightly less annoying than his predecessor.
If you have an IQ lower than the animals featured in this show or like ambulance chasing then you will love this.
It is an advert for why the NHS is stretched to its limits. Why not camp outside A&E and save money on your licence fee.
Vacation (2015)
Great revival of National Lampoons
I think the low score on here is because younger reviewers have never seen the originals.
All the crazyness of the 80s with a modern touch.
Christina Applegate still looks amazing.
I nearly wet myself when Griswald jr was driving like Chevy Chase.
But it is maybe sad indictment of today that they kids had never heard of Seal/Batman.
I watched Great Expectations from 194? and that was 10/10. I am not a grandad.
Confetti (2006)
Too predictable.
Great comedy cast but this seemed like an American film. Robert Webbs bits were highly amusing but I reckon the low score may be because our cousins over the pond may not understand we are a bit and tit more broad mindinded in the UK. I could spank your fannies. Its not great but an 8 for good funny moments the Yanks will not get no concept of British humoUr.
Urban Myths (2017)
As a teacher I think these are great.
I was born in in 1970 and didn't know some of this stuff but I am not The Greatest. In the current days of 'celebrity' culture. Maybe explain the myths of social media first.
I had to explain Bob Dylan to my dad.
You might have to be British to get the humoUr but brilliant acting, scripting, casting etc. Anyone with a semblance of intellect will love this.
