Night at the Museum (2006)
great movie for the entire family !
I watched Night at the Museum at a movie theater with my 5 year old son. He really enjoyed it and so did I.
When my mama heard about my niece and my son enjoying the movie, I rented it for her and we all watched again. One of my nephews said that he would like to watch it over and over again.
The movie was great for sheer entertainment value, but it also brings "history to life" for children. African animals, cowboys, Roman soldiers, Civil War soldiers, early explorers like Lewis and Clark, Teddy Roosevelt, and even a T-Rex all come to life at night. Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson rarely disappoint, but with Dick Van Dyke, Mickey Roonie, and that good looking chick from Entourage combined with the strong storyline and script, this was a can't miss hit!!!
A 70 year old woman, 3 kids age ranged 5-8 yrs old, and 2 generation Xers all gave it 2 thumbs up apiece !
Butter (1998)
inspired me to sign into IMDb after a couple of years
This movie was so awful that it inspired me to sign into IMDb after not doing so for a couple of years.
For the life of me, I can't understand why HBO would buy the rights to show this "film". ... (think Walker Texas Ranger type storyline, script, and dialog)
The director assembled an encore cast headlined by Terrance Howard, Donnie Wahlberg, and beautiful Nia Long. However, as another poster mentioned, even the all star cast of actors couldn't save the lame script and the predictable "plot twists".
This was an awful movie. I'm glad that I watched it on HBO so I only wasted my time and not my money.
