Intruder (2016)
Keep watching passed the credits
The other reviews are right, it is mostly suspenseful music with nothing going on. When the stalker poured a glass of milk, the music was so suspenseful and dramatic you would have thought something super dramatic happened. At the end, I didn't turn it right off and after the credits, there is an add on that is spooky, but still not very good. I think the actors did a good job with what they had to work with. After all, experience is experience and money is money.
Cave (2016)
Cave
The movie was weird from the start. It's clumsy. The dialogue is dubbed and their words don't keep up with their mouths moving. It's kinda funny that way but distracting.
So these 2 guys and a girl go into a cave to explore. The cave has no exit and they want to find one. So in they go. There are several times where the music makes you think something is going to happen, but it doesn't. There's a lot of build up but then it falls off. I won't tell everything.
SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER
One guy and girl are a couple. THe 3rd wheel guy is her ex-boyfriend. Bad idea girly to go down in a cave with him. So the boyfriend starts needling the ex about him wanting to get back with the girl. It becomes obvious that's the truth.
At one point EX ends up killing boyfriend. I won't tell how. EX talks on a cell phone in the cave to his dad ? either he is hallucinating or he has an incredible cell phone provider. She sneaks up and knocks him on the head and runs, dives into the water and manages to come up into a river. She struggles to the shore while being watched by an old craggy looking man. She is next seen wandering down a long deserted road in a daze, the man stops to "help" her. She throws up water and he gets her a blanket out of his trunk. When he opens the trunk and grabs the blankets, you see either an arm or a leg of a dead person. He gives her blankets and gets her in his car. they drive off to mysterious music and it ends with a blurb about cave 2 coming next year. Weird. I'll probably watch it just to see what happens on Netflix, not in a theater.
Agatha Raisin (2014)
Fun show, cozy mysteries, very entertaining
Very enjoyable show. It has mysteries in the cozy style, kind of better than Murder, She Wrote. It is lighthearted, funny, but mysterious too. I'm always trying to figure out who the culprit is. The characters are so interesting, good actors, great interaction between characters. I like that she's not perfect, once in a while, she accuses the wrong person. With the clues provided in the show, you can try and figure out the culprit. I always wonder how Agatha can walk in those heels on those English brick roads. I'd fall constantly. She's always walking what appear to be long distances in high heels. I love her outfits. I like the interaction with her neighbor who sometimes helps with the mystery. She has a crush on him. In the books, he was married to a younger Spanish woman who leaves him but comes back occasionally. I don't think it is that way in the show from what I've seen.
Married Life (2007)
Boring
This movie was so boring -- it was painful to watch. I had to force myself to watch it to the end, I kept hoping it would get better considering the good actors in it, Pierce Brosnan especially since he is really handsome and sexy. The actors all seemed to do the best they could but it was just boring. It never got better. It wasn't funny, it wasn't dramatic. It was tedious at best. All good actors make a dud and this was it for all of them. There was no story really, it jumped around. it was all about adultery, cheating, the buddy trying to help out. The music was irritating. The story that was there was not clearly told and the talking over the scenes and the explanations did not help. In fact, that was irritating too.
