Ted Lasso: Sunflowers (2023)
Absolute perfection
For the best tv show ever made, with the absolute best characters, best story and about the greatest sport on earth. This was unbelievable.
Just watch it and smile for an hour and love ever second of it, unbelievable TV.
From Jamie teaching Roy how to ride a bike, to Rebecca finding love with a local.
The team bonding pillow fighting, Higgins tearing it up in a jazz club, beard as piggy stardust.
And Ted in the most in football place on earth... an American bar. Discovering the key to playing the best, perfect football which will hopefully turn the clubs fortunes around.
This show gets better and better and is just beyond perfection.
Seven Kings Must Die (2023)
A great closing chapter on a brilliant story.
To end the show with a film like this just shows how far it has come since the first season and what an amazing, incredible story it really is.
You could say that it needed more room to breath and time taken with it, which in a perfect world yes that would be great but it's not a perfect world.
And how they closed the story with a shocking at times and twisting story with a powerful and emotional end to it was brilliant.
The change of Athelstan's behaviour due to Dane interference was a massive shock and was a genius move for the story to Unite everyone surrounding England against him and all of England, to end in a perfect, high stakes battle to end them all.
To have the final battle mirror the first episode so perfectly was phenomenal, with Uhtred able to learn from his fathers mistakes and this time baiting the Danes into them just to out flank them and attack from both sides was genius. Even for his son to be riding into battle just like he did when he was a child was a great touch.
People may complain about the prophecy not happening or making sense, but in the end it did and prophecy's are misleading, 5 sons of kings died on the battlefield, 1 more was executed by Athelstan, all who would of become king. And then the last king and true king that died...Uhtred
To let Uhtred die on his own terms as a hero uniting England, to be at peace in Valhalla happy at last with friends he had lost along the way which were many.
There could be no more fitting end to a perfect TV show turned into a worthy film to finish it once and for all.
Game of Thrones: The Bells (2019)
Perfect madness
The Absolute idiots who are leaving reviews saying they're betrayed and it doesn't honour story arcs. Embarrassing get a life, it's probably the greatest television episode ever made. Perfect ending to story lines, and brilliant developments for the final episode.
Oh and one more thing KILL DANY SHES GONE BLOODY INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!???!!
Game of Thrones: The Long Night (2019)
Best Battle Ever
The long and greatest battle in the history of film, and it was as good as it coins possibly be.
Incredible pacing by the director throughout, incredibly emotional moments throughout and mainly towards the end.
To make me and I imagine most people believe that they would all die and lose right till the end, is superb and that final moment with Arya killing the night king couldn't be better.
People complaining about how dark the episode looked, it's not called the long night for no reason! Most GOT episodes are dark but this especially, you aren't missing anything by it being dark they are showing you everything clearly.
The right character arcs came to the end and the ones that have survived have more to fight for. The lord of the light is real and that is why so many people survived, and Beric and Jorah could protect Arya and Dany for so long. Because he gave them the power to do that, remarkable episode and I can't wait for the final 3 of the best TV series ever made
Game of Thrones: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (2019)
Perfect set up
I Can't think of a better way to set up the next episodes, full of beautiful scenes, emotional reunions and just the joy of being alive.
One of my favourite episodes ever
