I really enjoyed this Italian series and the characters. The acting was good and everything was believable. The young and older versions of the two lead actors not exactly looking similar did not spoil the story even though I had read an English film critic not liking them. All in all a good way to spend a few hours. Stick with it beyond the first episode as the characters and plot get easier to follow. No real violence, the sex is reasonable and some of the scenery absolutely glorious. I can't how they could make a follow up series but it will look out to see it happens. My only criticism is that the end of the world lighthouse and beach are neither Fisterra or Cap de Creus.

Impressive and inspiring

Inspired by this excellent film I have just completed the section of the Camino from Samos to Santiago de Compostela with my daughter in law Ruth. We also took a coach out to Finisterre and Muxia from Santiago after we had walked the 140 kms. In March 2022 I am going back to walk this leg of the pilgrimage. Congratulations to Emilio and Martin for a fine and realistic view of the Camino in an entertaining film which is even better once you have walked on the Camino.

Best Baseball Film Ever
18 February 2020
Despite being an Englishman I played Fast Pitch Softball against USA Service teams over many years so understand Baseball. This is a sports movie constructed in a marvelously entertaining manner fulfilling my boyhood dreams. Redford might be old for the role but I found him both believable and committed to giving enjoyment. Great cast, lovely music, super performances, brilliant fairytale story and a real feel good experience.

Loved this Film as a Happy experience

A good British film and wonderful Cornwall scenery. A couple of hours of joy. Of course the real story is somewhat different but it doesn't matter as this is Cinema. We were in Port Isaac several years ago and one of the guys actually served us in his cafe.

All our yesterday's

I found this British film on Amazon Prime and was attracted to it as I remember watching Alma Cohan on black and white television when I was a young lad. A bit corny at the start it matures into a heart warming tender well acted experience. Really enjoyed it.

Brilliant

I first saw this film a few years ago and enjoyed the story. My wife was brought up in colonial Northern Rhodesia and we have been back to Southern Africa many times. We visited Swaziland ( now e swatini) for the first time in August 2018 so I thought I would revisit the film on DVD. It's even better than I remembered with British snobbery, drinking, adultery and people living a false and hedonistic life style. So it's got pathos, humour and it's downr entertaining. Great acting from many always reliable performers.Plus it was a work of love by Richard E North and it shows. Excellent
Not Guernsey!

I declare a vested interest as I am a Guernseyman who has lived here all my life. The film is very entertaining, well acted and interesting. I recommend it as a love story with a Guernsey historic background that is reasonably accurate. Sadly the film was not shot in Guernsey for various reasons and although the scenery is lovely to look at it's not as beautiful as our Island. Come and visit Guernsey and enjoy our Island.
