Independence Day (1996)
Best Move
This has got to be one of the best survival of the smartest movies I've ever seen. Lots of action, drama and romance. The speech given by the President in this movie is so moving that it gives me goose bumps even to this day, every time I watch it. It is patriotic and shows that even in the adversity of an alien invasion the President uses every available weapon to protect our country. He is a great example that the current and future presidents should follow. I know this is just a dream for a president to actually act like a hero. But, we are all allowed to dream aren't we? I recommend that this movie be watched by everyone in every language. It is vitally important that we face the fact that someday our whole world is going to be in danger and we will have to work together to overcome our mutual enemy. Something similar is happening right now that is a prime example of this with terrorists attacking all over the world. We need to work together to stop the bombings and bring peace to the world.

Waste of Talent
This movie was a terrible waste of good talent. I have seen Peter Weller and Bryan Brown in much better movies. This is sad that they had to stoop this low just to make some money. Better luck next time guys. I have seen some bad movies in my day, but I must say that if I were a school teacher and were to give this movie a grade, it would probably be a D-. This isn't a B movie it is a D- movie. Sorry this is so cruel but I can't think of a worse waste of time and money than this movie. The plot of the movie was interesting, but very poorly laid out in script. It lacked a lot of organization that is necessary for a movie or a play to be successful. All this movie was, was a lot of murder, mayhem and sex. None of which make it a movie that I would enjoy. My family did not enjoy it either.
