A refreshing mixture of many genres to form a brand new standard!
A refreshing mixture of many genres to form a brand new standard!
No spoilers here because this is one to watch and explore for yourself!
I'd just say this much that I watched this by chance and been watching for 6 hours straight!
Definitely one to watch!
Lupin (2021)
A very clever & witty series!!!
No spoilers here, just a few words of contempt.
A very clever & witty series indeed!
Watched part 1 (5 episodes) when it came out and was hooked instantly.
A great storyline which is well worth binge watching.
Finally, I watched part 2 (5 episodes) and I was left happily satisfied!
Highly recommend this series and looking forward to part 3.
Doctor Who: Spyfall: Part One (2020)
The Doctor will see you...
What an explosive start to another fantastic series of this cult classic sci-fi show!!!!
Jodie Whittaker's incarnation of the Doctor has had some very harsh reviews to date, but to be honest, the spin of a female incarnation is a fresh breath of air in my opinion!
Jodie has done an absolute tremendous job as the Doctor and as an actress I think she's very versatile and carries this version flawlessly!
I'm not going to spoil this review by giving out details of the plot but the whole cast did an amazing job this episode especially which made me watch the episode twice, once it aired live and again on BBCiplayer.
Sacha Dhawan really out shine in this episode!!!
I really didn't see it coming!!! You'll know what I mean once you watch the episode....
I can't wait to see the next episode to see how it all unfolds.
It really has been worth the long wait for the series to return.
Origin (2018)
A story that starts and ends with you wanting to know more!
Spoiler Alert!!!!
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
This is a story about a group of strangers who volunteered to go to an Earth-like planet many light years away. They travel with the premise that their past is erased and once at their destination, they start afresh.
The series opens up with their hibernation pods opening early due to an emergency situation. One by one we are introduced to the passengers.
Each episode takes us on a journey with them dealing with the situation and realisation that they are the only people left on the spacecraft and through a series of flashbacks we get to know the characters.
A couple of episodes do drag a little, I emphasis a little because it all comes together in the end!
The acting is okay, not Oscar worthy but you do get to relate to them almost immediately which really helps drive the story forward.
This is one of those series's that is hard not to binge watch!
So, have you snacks on the ready!
I'm not going to spoil it too much for you by giving any more details other than what the title and description of the show gives.
A few reviewers have rated this between 3 and 10 and with respect it's not everyone's cup of tea! However if you like a good scifi, look no further.
I would've given this a 9 because I very much enjoyed the show and am hoping they will roll out the next season soon, but gave it an 8 because there are a few great shows out there and it would be unjust.
I'd strongly recommend if you like scifi.

A must see for Sci-Fi & conspiracy genre lovers!
I just finished watching the 8th and final episode of this masterfully done mini-series, a true piece of art based on a novel written by the legendary writer Stephen King.
As the synopsis goes, "A teacher discovers a time portal that leads to October 21st, 1960 and goes on a quest to try and prevent the assassination of John F. Kennedy, which is complicated by the presence of Lee Harvey Oswald and the fact that he's falling in love with the past itself."
The story touches on paradoxes, conspiracies and a lot more to keep you from realising that an hour has just passed in a few blinks!
This story requires your full attention as it's quite fast at times and pretty slow at other times but the dialogue and acting is simply superb and will keep all conspiracy affectionardos wanting to know what comes next!
I have rated this 9/10.
It is a must see!!!!
The Wrong Mans (2013)
Best of British comedy!!!
This is a fine example of the great British humour of "Being in the wrong place at the wrong time!" I won't give out too much info on the plot here thus sparing you the enjoyment of this fine drama. I will however say that I have enjoyed this series immensely thus far (episode 3)!
Fine acting from James Corden & Mathew Baynton as a gullible dynamic duo with a good heart to do the right thing with every thing turning to crap essentially!
I can't wait to see how the story unfolds in the remaining episodes. It would be a shame if they (the BBC) were to end this after the first series! We definitely need more programs like this on our TV to look forward to after a long hard days work to come home and unwind with!
Highly recommended if you enjoy a good story line with plenty of laughs with clichés!
Only Fools and Horses (1981)
"Lovely jubbly"
This series is the cream of the crop of British comedy with out a doubt! In many ways this program relates to how most of us lived in the late 70's and 80's and depicts the struggles and morals of the time with a twist of good old cockney humour! A timeless classic, one you can watch over and over and you still laugh out loud as if you are watching it for the first time! One of Sir David Jason's best performances! Although other classics include the notable Open All Hours as the character Granville. Nicholas Lyndhurst had his best moments on this show!
Not farewell...just Bonjor.... You know it makes sense!
