The Big Bang Theory (2007)
A very good sitcom, just misses with the ending
To give my final verdict, "I love it'. That being said the show after some seasons changes the protagonist from Leonard to Sheldon. I really like Sheldon, extraordinary performance; but that wasn't the built-up of the show. Four friends, two major being Leonard and Sheldon and protagonist being Leonard from the start.
These are friends, spending most of their time together, playing games, working together, eating together, comic books, comic con, etc..etc...Everything is great but there was nothing meaningful with any experiments and theories involving Leonard and Sheldon. In fact till the end there wasn't much going for Leonard.
For me, as far as the friends were portrayed and their life together the Nobel prize at the end of the show should have been shared with Leonard and Sheldon as an achievement in their life together. As Leonard took care of Sheldon in the whole show and Sheldon always trusted his best friend Leonard. A deserving ending was missing for Leonard towards the end, even though he was the protagonist from the start.
Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)
Its better than theatrical version
Its good, it really is, if you are comparing it to the theatrical release. Better in nearly all aspects. But I don't see an improvement in story. Someone commented that this movies reveals the real reason of superman's sacrifice; it doesn't. The fights and story is almost similar to the theatrical one, just some more explanations and character built up. If you compare with Marvel movies this one cannot beat Civil War let alone Infinity War or Endgame ( Don't get me wrong, Personally I like DC characters better than Marvel ones). Batman portrayed here is weaker than the actual character. Still its a pretty good watch so I rated it 8/10, I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't watched the theatrical release first.
Mad Men (2007)
Was that the whole story!!!
I hate it when people write long reviews. So to cut it short I just finished watching all the seasons of Madmen. Just so you know I did not watch the full series cause it was intriguing, but I cannot leave any thing half way if I start something.
Now about the series, the story of the protagonist is dull which makes the series dull. You can never feel pity for him until Season 7. It looks he has a death wish or you can say self destruct. There is no hope in this series, just a continuous similar episodes after episodes. And since the writer was not satisfied with him so he basically darkened all the rest of them. The first three seasons are going to drown you and you feel like you need to kill someone. A little improvement can be seen in season 5 only and I emphasize on the word "ONLY". A few things good in this series is the presentation or cinematography and costumes.
So basic verdict is that the plot is week and makes you feel restless.
Casino Royale (2006)
Favorite Bond Movie
I liked watching Bond movies, but during Pierce Brosnan's era it was less reality. In Casino Royale the franchise has taken it to a whole new level. Exotic locations, flawless acting, and my favorite storyline. Casino Royale is more factual and more realty separating it from any other Bond movie. Action sequence are great and Daniel Craig was the ultimate choice for Bond in it.The whole story is beautiful and the ending makes people crave for more, although picked up smoothly from Quantum of Solace but lost its charms a little.I really thought the ending wasn't what I expected. All in all this movie is a must watch even if you aren't a Bond fan.
Revenge (2011)
Good performance but lacks plot
I thought from the start it was going to be a great show; the cast is great, performance, but it lacks story. It is uselessly stretching the plot. I seriously can't understand even though having all proofs the protagonist is delaying her revenge and even stopping others to do so.Like the takeover of Nolcorp was totally unnecessary also when Amanda died and Emily threw the laptop containing all proofs against the Graysons and said that now her head is clear and she is deemed to destroy Conrad and Victoria and that she deviated from her path and now she does not require any proofs implying that she is going to kill them but doesn't. It circles around meaningless sub-stories and hangs the second season towards the end for more. I hope the third season should be its last.
