Superman Returns (2006)

so good!

this movie was a lot better than i thought it was going to be...i am not a superman fan (i like smallville, die-hard superman fans please don't kill me) but i am a fan of this movie...i like action movies.

i wish kate bosworth wouldn't have died her hair back blonde as soon as they were done filming..it is so ugly...she made a pretty brunette i am very impressed by Brandon Routh's performance...he was the biggest dork ever as Clark Kent. He waved like a geek, he looked like a dork, and he was totally nerdy. Sort of cute, but really geeky. Then, when he became Superman, it was a complete change. He was so hott! Even his hair looked different. It was like he played two very different characters but both were totally believable this is so not a chick flick...in fact, i wish there would've been more romance, but there wasn't...i am a little disappointed in that...

there were several heart-wrenching parts towards the end...

all the effects are amazing...the flying is so cool, and i don't even know how they filmed some of those scenes...it was amazing all in all, a fantastic movie. the only question i have (this might be a small spoiler) could we please get a real kiss at the end???

High School Musical (2006 TV Movie)

cute with the exception of one song

OK, so the movie was really cute...yeah, it was also pretty cheesy but i mean, its Disney, what do you expect? all the songs were really good except for "get your head in the game"...i thought that one was kinda dumb...but all the others were fun...OK, as i watched it i felt as if i was watching a musical on the stage at my high school...like, troy was obviously lip-synching and he was really over dramatic when singing but he is so cute he can get a way with it...everybody else did good...it was just really simple and a cute way to pass the time...pretty good for a Disney channel movie..i hope that one day ashley tisdale will be able to break away from Disney cause she is really good and she deserves to be involved in "real" acting

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

i've seen it twice and i'm dying to see it again

this movie was every bit as depressing as everyone said it would be, but it worked. heartbreakingly sad but still wonderful. i thought it would bug me that the film was basically tying up loose ends, but it didn't. there were only a few problems i had with episode 3: (1) some of the love scenes were a little cheesy at first (Anakin: "you're so beautiful" Padime: "its only because i'm so in love" Anakin: "no, its because i'm so in love with you"..give me a break)but the end scenes (especially padime's last couple of scenes) were super (2) hayden's acting left a little to be desired but it was an improvement over episode 2 and besides, he's SO HOTT so it's really OK...he did dark and sinister and evil very well. (3) there were a few holes in the plot, but it all basically came together very nicely...good stuff: palatine and obi wan's performances...really good and convincing I WISH THE STAR WARS MOVIES WEREN'T OVER!! that makes me sad but what a way to end it!! everybody go see this movie! it's the best ever!!!!

Legally Blonde (2001)

Hilarious? Definitely. Degrading to Women? Maybe.

The story of the not-so-dumb blonde from Beverly Hills that gets into law school to get her boyfriend back is a fantastic one, as long as it isn't taken too seriously. Elle is pretty, sweet, and smart, and yet she spazzes and has to get Warner back, even though she could do so much better. Especially since it is obvious to the audience what a loser Warner is. Also, it bothers me that Elle attempted to gain respect at Harvard while dressing in a skanky way. No wonder guys kept throwing unwanted attention at her. However, the movie was cute and funny, but not to be taken seriously. Light entertainment is all that I would suggest.

Finding Nemo (2003)

nemo...that's a nice name...

possibly the second best animated movie of all time (first being Aladdin) and it is definitely the funniest!! the story was great, and the jokes are unforgettable. props to whoever played dory, because that was the FUNNIEST talking fish i have ever seen in my life. the fish in tanks were cute, and the turtles were cool. i liked the sharks, and the way nemo's name was constantly mispronounced (fabio, etc.) i wouldn't necessarily recommend it for really little kids, as it was a little sad. but overall, i absolutely loved it. i hope they come up with some sort of sequel that doesn't absolutely ruin it, but even if they don't , it's still an absolutely awesome movie.

Napoleon Dynamite (2004)

flippin' hilarious

I LOVE NAPOLEON!!! this movie is now the staple quoting movie of my high school. i think i might scream if one more person calls me a flippin' idiot or tells me that my mom goes to college. but it's OK because it is sweet!! the movie totally works because it's about idiotic people who do idiotic things because they have way too much time on their hands. fortunately, my friends and i are idiots, and we have nothing better to do with our time, so we loved it!! props to jon heder ( who is a cutie ) for his voice and dance "skills". i liked the guy who played 'kip' ( voice was also good) and uncle rico was SO annoying...i also enjoyed that there was no cussing...i loved this movie...VOTE FOR PEDRO!!

Deep Blue Sea (1999)

really good shark movie

i'm no professional, but i thought deep blue sea was an excellent shark movie. the sharks were scary, surprising and fast. i thought the casting was excellent ("carter" was a cutie and the cook was funny) and i really liked the ending...no matter what anybody says. i thought the plot was good and simple enough that you didn't have to do any deep thinking really. and there really wasn't enough time during attacks for my stomach to untense. the girl scientist's accent got annoying at times, but she was a believable character. i wasn't crazy about samuel l jackson's character, but he made it work...and did i add that the shark attacks were scary and GOOD!! i'll admit it...i JUMPED!!
