Busanhaeng (2016)
I wasn't crying
Survival element of this movie for me is better especially when its action only happen around the train station, railway and in the train itself (suit with the title) with the zombas(zombies) that for me their faces are not too much. For the audiences that love to 'cut an onion', the family and humanity scenes had touch my heart even my tears didn't fall down. The duration is around 2 hours and I didn't even feel it was already 2 hours after I watched it.
I felt so entertained until I make a big hole of my mouth in the hall and luckily, the hall was too dark and I was sitting far from anybody – I sat in the COUPLE SEAT, alone. Maybe I easily felt entertained with this movie because of the less information I got before watching the movie. I knew the movie had viral long ago and I even knew it was about zombies two or three days before I went to the cinema. I also never watched the trailer. So it gave me a different experience of entertainment while watching it with less information of (it would be the same to another movies). This movie was succeeds to attract me into its universe till the end, and I didn't really find the detail elements of what made this movie was so entertaining to me. It was enough for taking me to the end of the story.
The Untouchables (1987)
Smooth and Exciting
Just watched this story a week ago, there are a bit information of this film I remember.
A piece of story based on the life of a mafia boss legend in the era of 30-40's in Chicago, Al Capone(Robert De Niro). But the focus one in this film is a police agent, Eliot Ness(Kevin Costner) as the main character. It's about the effort of Eliot in bringing Al Capone to the justice department for many crimes were made by him.
I'm not sure if this film really based 100% on true story as I don't follow that much on Al Capone's cases. Next, back into the story. Two hours given was satisfying the feeling. A calm story line and not too rush. And it's given me to feel the worry and nervousness that felt by the main character and the other protagonists.
Character building is pretty good for me which the main character are struggling on his shameful working performance at the beginning of story and start to rise in the fight to take down Al Capone. A bit disappointment, Al Capone's character seems not to be given a chance to emerge his evilness in the film instead Frank Nitti(Billy Drago) is more evil as Nitti is simply the sidekick that responsible for dirtying his hand to make sure the hands of big boss is always clean. Maybe because of this is a true story and nearly end of the power of Al Capone in Chicago. So only that little things could be shown there. In addition at the beginning scene, the dirty hand of Nitti was the cause of making me shocked and thought that he is the person that should be kicked in the ass than Al Capone.
The action that will keep to be remembered of course at the shooting scene at the train station that shows in amazing slow motion. The excitement is so tasty. The cinematography that matches with the west/American fashion in the setting of time around 30-40's making me felt like watching a 60's Hollywood film in color, just my feeling only.
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013)
Just my self-inspiring story
Watching the secret life of Walter Mitty remind me a little bit about myself, a day-dreamer. But not as terrible as Walter Mitty, I still can realize something happen in my daily life - I'm not a guy that imagine the refrigerator-man as a husband of my crush in a sudden, hahaha. Okay! what was attracting me about this movie is, off course the cinematography. The camera work, angle and visual are some reasons that helped this film to keep breathing scene by scene. I really love movies that capturing a beautifully of the cinematography because film is an art, it can't be presented just like that, at least the movie was done, or it has a plot and it's enough. Yes, the main point of a nice movie is the story line, but a good camera and visual skill will also make a movie is going a step further.
Then, the story itself. The Walter Mitty personality made me wanted to know, how this low confident-guy and a dreamer wants to change and get out from his comfort zone. Plus, he likes a single- mom and tries to grab her heart. In this story, he needs to find the lost negative-25 that given by photographer, ' '. How he forces himself to travel outside USA to find the negative-25 and he needs to overcome his dream and imagination by start living in reality. This movie inspired me a little bit for becoming brave to take risk in this life and stop dreaming too much. Achievement in real life by your own struggle and confident are the best thing you get than dreaming. Dreaming may reduce your frustration, but it won't help you to rise. Oh wait! the music score that follow with the scenes of "Mr. Mitty's Running" also has an impact of the movie.
After I watched this movie, I didn't feel the comedy after all because before I'm gonna watch it, I thought there would be a usual comedy because I saw Ben Stiller. But what I really felt was the story is very close to me. There are somethings good and lesson in this film. Yes, that story is all about, the origin is to give lesson to the human. Sometimes I think this movie too slow in certain parts, but I still love it.
The Fault in Our Stars (2014)
Good but not a something interesting to watch it repetitively
I took many months to watch this movie after it released. I knew about this film from someone review about this story and my crush, after I stalked her social account. Then I got this movie from my friend. By the way, before I want to watch this movie , my cousin told me that it is a sad movie and my friends also said that this movie is best, they said. So, I asked myself, is it really sad like my heart was going jump-out like I was watching Titanic before? It really made me want to watch this movie.
But the real sadness was, I already found the spoiler(little bit as a spoiler) before when I was scrolling my time line on twitter and It seems happen the same in the movie. End up, the story not sad at all after I finished watching it. I don't know if I didn't feel sad because of that spoiler or the story feelings can't cross my heart at all. However, I still can feel the sadness and sickness that the Hazel feels. Yes, I'm still into romantic movies. My open-minded about any genres of film happened after that Titanic film, sigh.
The story start with the narrative by the main character, Hazel Lancaster. Which is for me it is just good. I'm not the fan of the novel of this adaptation and I also never read it before. I also knew that there are many quotes or an impact dialog in this story that has brought up in this movie, nice. For me, the plot is not too slow and not too rush , it well organised. The "sad moment" not really gave an impact for me, maybe due to the spoiler as I point out in this writing. What I really love is the scene when they are, Hazel and Augustus going to meet the novel writer of Van Houten that they really admire in Amsterdam. It is really unexpected 'tragedy' happen in their meeting, for me it the cause of the story is getting interesting and this scene has a thing to do with the ending.
Lastly, I tried to watch it back but for me this movie isn't powerful enough to push me for watching this again.
Fast & Furious 7 (2015)
More budgets, more actions and the existence of illogical scene
I'm not a fan of this fast & furious franchise, but it grabbed my look of those movies such as F&F 2011, 2013 and Tokyo Drift(2006). To watch it as racing movies, I think Tokyo Drift had proved it unlike those other seasons ( I haven't watched 1,2 & 4 seasons). But, as a fan of action movies, with the bombastic promotion as usual (same like Marvel's) , I asked myself to forget 100% about racing and just focus on the action and story itself, and take a look at the sports car that just being an eye-catchy of the film than the sexy women ( those cars are really delicious).
The story is the sequel of Tokyo Drift(if not mistaken). It's nothing great or heavy about the plot(fit with an action), it just about Deckard Shaw that want to get revenge of his brother Owen Shaw from Dominic's team due to Fast 6. But what I like is, the story is not going to straight seems like Deckard is chasing Dominic, Dominic is chasing Deckard until the end of the story. It makes this movie has the other little story to show rather than about revenge but it still sticks to the plot where Dominic's team need to save '' , a hacker(seems like that). With surviving this hacker, their job to find Deckard will became easier. The actions that James Wan(director) delivered to us are pretty well fit with the scene to scene. Yes, the actions well showed in full blast with the 250 million USD. The cars jump scene was really making me amazed, I didn't expect about this scene , it's a fresh idea. Regarding to Wikipedia, that scene didn't use CGI at all, it was trained many times, many cars to make this great scene. It didn't make sense at all why this film took 250M USD. But, there is a few scenes that challenged my logic thinking like a scenes "cars don't fly" and "escaping from terrorist at a hill" etc. It made me a little bit annoying when the action is everything to make the characters keep alive.
For me, the special effect is pretty good but I still can see the weakness at scene "Brian O'Conner's house exploded". I don't know about how the others think but I just feel that way. Off course, the CGI was nice for me after all, it's a Hollywood movie guys! About the cinematography, it's well played and the actions captured very well, I felt great for watching it. It's a pop corn flicks, I enjoyed.
The Walk (2015)
May be too simple
I watched this movie at the cinema near the place I am studying. I also bring my friend with me watching the movie, he was okay with it but he told me that the story might be too simple.
For me, it was entertaining me in the cinema hall but I am not sure if it may give me the same feeling as I watched it in the cinema when I watch it again on television or else. The story line is going well and I admit the part or scene that entertained me the most was the final scene, walking on the electric-wire between of 2 world trade center buildings. Since it is based on the Philippe Petit's biography, most of the audiences or peoples could expect how was the ending would be (not all exactly know who is him).
Lastly, it's worth for watching it in the cinema but for me, I seem to be agreeing with what my friend just has said.
Serbuan maut 2: Berandal (2014)
New Excitement in Martial Art Movies
With the released of The Raid Redemption(2011) , I'm really impressed about the attention of the film, I found out that it was made from my neighbor country, Indonesia. It was one of a fantastic action movie that I ever watched, and I was getting excited with the new one, The Raid 2.
Unlike the Redemption, this latest one has the story to be told. The plot becomes wide make this film more to something than just action only. There are many characters were brought in this story than previous one and make this more interesting to watch. One thing that took my attention about this movie was the music score, choreography and the cinematography. This movie captured and played a beautiful shot when it came to the fight scene just like The Redemption which is for me it's really a fresh view for a martial arts movie because I have watched Hong Kong martial arts movie for always. This is a new excitement for me and probably I fully agreed with the majority if this was a one of the greatest action movie ever made, I watched it many times and it gave a satisfaction that I really wanted for.
Escape Plan (2013)
nice to watch
I never watch this movie trailer on you tube or any else, but I knew this movie was played by S.Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger(sorry if mistaken). I was interested to see this two Star were together to play in this movie. I don't even know how was the storyline, so I just watched the movie then I got the objective in the middle of story. Ray Breslin(S.Stallone) is the world's foremost authority on structural security. He used to analyze every high security prison and test the endurance of each prisons which is he needs to escape from the prison. The storyline was moving well and the secret was kept properly. The acting was good for me , not too amazing and the action was good enough , simple , not too excessive and I like it. So, just this review from me for this movie. It's a nice movie to watch, still fresh for a mystery film.

My First Comment
A short synopsis which I took from IMDb
A man ages once in every four years and spends his life searching for his true love, Lily.
For me,I think this movie would be better without 3D because it has a good content and they should have been focused more the script and the pace of the story. It's cinematography quite good with a decent visual effects. It has a colorful visual but I don't think people bother it to watch in 3D. Most of the things in the film was pretty well but I don't really like when they show the character progression in 70's, 80's, 90's period, it was so fast. For the musical part, I'm sorry with this but the soundtrack is not a memorable one although it's still a good song to be honest. However, it's still nice to watch the movie.
