Poor Things (2023)

This is basically a porno

Warning: Spoilers
I watched this because of all the rave reviews. I hope to get it out of my head sooner than later. The lunacy of the acting and storytelling from such a Stella cast was disastrous and disappointing . The majority of the scenes and movie are completely naked sex scenes so don't let your children watch it. I don't get all the hype. The main character is a prostitute. I guess the whole point is that a robot female can be an independent thinker but think over what? Self deprecation and finding a low life style? The acting was uncomfortably horrible. I'm very surprised that Emma Stone took the role. Mark Ruffalo acts like it's his first day on stage in a high school play. I wish I never watched it.

I can't believe this is the first time I've seen this movie!! It was thrilling to see who the next icon was to show up in the movie 🎥 The music is incredible. Frank Sinatra looks like a baby singing - Old Man River, Lena Horne is stunning. Boy when movies had talent sad all this talent is gone. Enjoy this stunning cast and classic.

I enjoyed the movie.

I liked the movie, very much. It seems like it might be slow initially, however, I found the characters internal emotions came across on screen. It is interesting to apply how one's emotions affect all aspects of our lives throughout our lives. The beautiful peaceful scenery at times was warming. I read many hateful reviews. I found simplicity in the movie and the complexity of one's internal emotions and feelings very compelling. I felt the film was more about relationships than war. I found the bond between the two main characters entertaining. I do not think one was more powerful than the other. I found it to be an excellent balance of film presence between to seasoned actors.

Colorfully humorous

James Colburn is a super genius and super spy. He aids in a friend to help find three minutes missing while on a golf outing with the President. Something appears to be amiss. Colburn is a ladies man and ends up all over the world showing his many talents. I happened to find all of the set designs very detailed and colorful. I will be watching it again just for the costume design, furniture design and set designs. I love Colburn, this was nothing I expected from him. It is light heartedly silly and comical. I will leave all the critical reviews for someone else. I found it goofy and entertaining and it was surprising to see this side of Colburn. If I was a design student, artist or interior decorator, definitely worth the watch.
