Into the Blue (2005)
I should have trusted the bad reviews on this site..
Yeah, I know it's too late now to say it, but I should have listened to the people who said this movie sucks, because it does.
There's nothing to enjoy about it.
4 stupid people who just swim around the ocean and decide to sell the dope they find. STUPID. I really don't know what else to write, other than DO NOT GO SEE THIS MOVIE! I didn't really think anything about Jessica Alba before this movie, now I know I don't like here. And I, as a girl, am not really that interested in big shots of girls' behinds. So that didn't entertain me either.
Just awful. Do not waste you money on this.
The characters are unlikeable, I didn't even care what would happen to them. And the sea was always clean and blue, that was irritating sometimes. It was like this big fantasy world thing. Stupid. I'm really mad I wasted money on this. One of the worst movies I've seen lately
Flightplan (2005)
Good one!
This movie's a good one! The story is good and you don't really know what's going to happen next.
Although it has some logical errors: SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!!! Why doesn't the killer really kill her daughter and pack her in an extra coffin which he placed in the plane before??? That way Jodie Foster wouldn't have suspected a thing.
And in the end, why does the whole plane blow up leaving Jodie and her daughter unharmed? How does that work?
Other than that it was a pretty good movie.. I enjoyed it.
Since I have to fill some more lines in order to submit, let me just say that this movie is better than the similar "Red Eye", because it gives you an explanation why stuff is happening the way it is.
Red Eye (2005)
Nice little movie to kill some time.. nothing more
Watched this movie some time ago.. and I quite enjoyed it. Until the end that is. There is no pleasing solution to this movie. A lot of questions came to my mind at the end of this "masterpiece":
- Why would Rippner want to kill these people? Who else was involved? Was it about money, politics, pure hatred? - Why wouldn't he kidnap someone else, the manager of the hotel for example, someone with more influence? Oh I get it, it had to be the beautiful young girl to get people into the movies :-0 - How would he have expected to get away with this? All the people on the plane would be able to identify him
The storyline is not all that bad, but the producers could have made a lot more of it. More details, more background.
And why the heck did they have to cast Rachel McAdams as the big hotel lady with all that influence? She looks too young and is not that good an actress. The guy who played Jack the Rippner is not that good a cast either.
And please let at least one person die next time! Why does everybody has to get away all the time to make it a happy end??
My recommendation: If you just want to kill some time with a movie that does not involve lots of thinking go see it, if you want to see a really good movie about airplane hostage go see "flightplan" with Jodie Foster, that one has some logical errors as well, but at least it lets you leave the theater with an explanation about it all.
Cursed (2005)
Boring, predictable, not worth my time
I rented this movie at a redbox because it seemed to be the most decent one I hadn't already seen. And I liked Wes Craven's Scream, so I thought I'd give it a shot.
Allover it was boring and predictable. You knew there was going to be a wolf and it would tear some people to shreds. But this movie just couldn't really keep the viewer interested.
There was just nothing new in this movie that would make it special. Just another one of those teen horrors with no real story and not much of a suspense, it's just about this monster that came from somewhere and is killing people. Although I do have to admit I didn't watch the last 20 minutes of the movie. I was too bored with it.
I give it three stars because Wes Craven tried so hard..
