Elizabeth Blue (2017)
Very interesting movie on mental illness
Elizabeth Blue is a well-done movie on mental illness. I have enjoyed the movie from the first minute. The acting is pretty good and the story is intriguing in the way it develops as an everyday life story, filled with many of the issues that mentally ill patients unfortunately have. It shows the challenges, the struggles, the pains.
The ending is a punch in the stomach. It leaves you with a strong bitter taste in your mouth. It might be the right feeling to have because mental illness is bad, it's mean and it's immensely difficult. But the ending also has a sort of Sixth Sense feeling and it suddenly transforms a nicely done movie, very delicate, to a movie that seems to be more interested in shocking you with an unexpected ending.
In any case, I recommend watching the movie.
Creator (1985)
One of the best movies I have ever seen
Everything about this movie is fantastic, from the story to the acting. Everything here is perfect and watching Creator is a formative experience. I have seen this movie the first time when I was a kid and it formed the way I think about love, friendship, life. The idea of the big picture in life is simply amazing and the way this idea is delivered is unique. I highly recommend this movie to everyone.
Each and every actor in the movie is great. Peter O'Toole is amazing, Mariel Hemingway is fantastic in her role as a happy and light girl and the other actors (I don't remember their name now) are astounding.
I am shocked that this movie has such a low rating, it's really a good movie!
