worst horror ever
30 March 2005
Warning: Spoilers
This was by far...the worst....horror movie ever written. There is absolutely no plot at all. The movie follows one character around, who is Heartbroken(!) by learning a friend is missing after meeting her one hour before. Instead of leaving this crap-hole apartment, she decides to solve the mystery. She learns of a curse, 15 minute before the movie concludes. The killer is no one introduced in the movie, at the end we find out, he is a mummy figure. The movies ends, plot less, with the killer escaping after being hanged out from 14 stories through a window. Awful...god awful. I advise someone to see this only (!) if they don't anticipate seeing a good movie.

wow....for a laugh I suppose

It is safe to say this is the worst movie ever created that received any type of funding and/or advertisement in major theaters. I have to say the movie began like it might be decent. However, this changed in the first 10 minutes. This MOVIE IS SO BAD, it doesn't even explain the interesting parts of the movie, like what happened to him and his fellow childhood orphans. It was so funny (for lack of words) how much this movie lacks. It lacks plots, acting, storyboard, connecting scenes, etc, etc. At one point in this movie, they discover a security guard dead, of which both knew so well, dead, body split in half, and they do not even do more than say his name, then walk away. The next scene they are making love. THis movie honest to god is worth going to just to laugh at, but, please, for my and your sake, do not go into it expecting to ACTUALLY see a movie.

well done

Having seen the Phantom five times (three in Toronto, two in Detroit) I can say that Joel did a good job directing. Despite very small (but somewhat irratable to a fan like me) parts that could have easily been avoiding change, it was a beautiful representation of the musical on Broadway. I also very much so, enjoyed the extra ending, )for those of you who have seen the play know it ends with Meg holding the mask up to the audience, and the spotlight hits then fades....) I thought it very appropriate, and it was indeed a tear jerker. I do though, think maybe a different actor for the Phantom, despite a tolerable acting job, not the voice that they should have had for a major production. I am not just comparing his voice to that of Michael Crawford, or any London or Toronto Phantom, but I will not complain. A definite must see, despite how many times you've seen it on stage, or even if you haven't!
