Life Overtakes Me (2019)
This 'Syndrome' looks completely fake
The syndrome these children have looks totally faked. The families not only fake things in Sweden, they faked things for the cameras filming the documentary.
I realize the families are seeking asylum, but my comments about the faked syndrome have nothing to do with this issue.
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021)
The credits are better than the movie
Bad direction. Story is poorly connected together. Scenes are poorly executed. Character development is lacking. Dialog is campy. Whole movie is one big mess. Credits are really better than the movie. I still love Vera Famiga and the actor from the TV show Fringe. There was potential for this movie but this movie doesn't live up to the potential.
Heads-Up: Will We Stop Making Cents? (2019)
Fantastic
This is an outstanding documentary. I'm a documentary junkie and this one is tops. I rarely learn anything new from documentaries, articles or other sources because I'm so addicted to reading and watching, but I learned so much from this video. It's a fascinating look at pennies from every angle. All controversies are fairly discussed as well. More people need to watch this interesting film.
The Conners (2018)
Funniest show on TV
I laugh my rear off when ever I watch this show. The characters are great and so is the writing. It only gets better and better. Ignore any of the low reviews because I don't think these people actually watched this show. I watch comedies all the time and I can spend the whole show watching without even one chuckle coming out of my mouth. I just finished watching the season premiere and I laughed the whole time.
Operation Toussaint: Operation Underground Railroad and the Fight to End Modern Day Slavery (2018)
This seemed like an ad to get money for their charity
The cause of stopping child trafficking is just, but this film was more like promotional to solicit contributions to the charity associated with the film.
Under the Sea: Webisode - Expedition South Australia - (2010)
Spectacular. The most beautifully photographed documentary I've ever seen
I've been watching this on STARZ. The cinematography will knock your socks off. I finally get to see what my expensive TV is capable of. This documentary is gorgeous. Great for families time, teachers, science lovers, people that love beauty. Plenty of great scientific information about each animal highlighted. See the ocean like you have never seen it before. Love this. Spread the word.
Bleed Out (2018)
Thank goodness someone is bringing public awareness to the subject of caps on medical malpractice suits
When tort reform went into effect at the time of President Bush's administration, many thought that capping amount a malpractice victim could recover would result in lower medical costs. Boy were these people wrong. All this has done is let big hospital chains and physician insurance companies keep their money when they have been the perpetrators of horrible wrongs against patients and their families. It's time to revisit these state laws and allow victims adequate compensation.
This documentary examines the case of the mother of the director and the years of struggle she has endured since she became the victim of harrowing medical error. The documentary is well done and you, the viewer, will not want to miss a minute. There is no boring droll here. Please watch and become enlightened.
Helix (2014)
Ignore the haters and keep watching all the episodes. This series is great.
This series is a sleeper. After watching both seasons, I can say that I was totally entertained. I loved the plot lines. Nothing was predictable. Every subplot tied together brilliantly. The entire story was great. Ignore the haters. This is really good.
