The Batman (2022)

Totally overrated

I had huge expectations. I like Pattinson and Matt Reeves.

But I was completely underwhelmed. This was more like a boring Thriller with a guy who cosplay batman than a batman movie.

It was nicely executed with awesome actors. But the plot was boring, the story told WAY too slow, and the movie over all at least 30-40 min too long, filled with useless stuff.

For me it's even worse than "Batman & Robin". I'm completely disappointed and the last 60 min were pure torture. It's a classical one time watch, not worth the time for a second session. I really hope this movie won't get a se- or prequel.

Bel-Air (2022– )

Obviously most people don't understand Bel-Air

For god's sake, it's not the reboot of a comedy show. You won't laugh watching this. It's a drama show addressing problems of our society.

It's a drama... it's dark sometimes, it's frustrating, it's a coming out of age, it's about drugs, it addresses subliminal and obvious racism, it's about jealousy and envy, the problems of getting in a completely new environment. That's what this show is all about.

Don't expect a new dancing and funny Fresh Prince. If you want this, watch another show.

Head Full of Honey (2018)

Far away from the original movie

Oh man, what can I say... This movie is far far away from the German original despite the fact that both movies have the same director and good actors :( I don't know what the heck went wrong making this movie but if you have the choice, watch the original movie.

Painful to watch. You will absolutely hate everyone of the protagonists except Wilson. He's awesome. Jessica Hyde is just like the freaks from Harvest. Ruthless, heartless, psychopathic. This show will leave you with a bad feeling.

Collateral Beauty (2016)

Loved every second

The reason why this movie has a mediocre rating is the fact, that a lot of people see it the wrong way. As a tragedy, a simple movie. But it is way more... Collateral Beauty is a wonderful homage to life.

Wow, that movie was so bad... it's a complete waste of time. It's full of logical mistakes, bad scripted charakters, bad acting and has an absolutly incoherent story line. It feels like this movie is missing about an hour of its story line. I feel so bad for the talented cast. But I loved Reese Witherspoon. She was a bright spot in this movie. I don't know why the film needed the character of "Calvin". He have zero (really!) influence on the story. He's just eye candy for 13-years old girls and looks like a puppy in every scene. Without him there wouldn't be any changes in the movie... a complete senseless character. The visual effects were (partly) awesome. I give it a 3/10 for visual effects, the music and Reese Witherspoon.

Bad acting meets bad scripting

This movie was a huge disappointment after "Honig im Kopf". One of the most unfunny comedy movies of all time. The comedy was never on point and always cheap shots. It could be funny if you're a 13 year old kid. "Klassentreffen 1.0" is bad scripted with even worse acting - especially by Lilly Schweiger. Her acting knew two conditions: total overacting or completely unemotional. The movie is a waste of time and money...
