I was really on the fence looking at the reviews on here as well as Netflix. Started out great, suspense is there, you are really invested in the protagonist. The sci-fi is interesting. Then I check to find out Gary Oldman plays the voice of Tau! Cool! I'm gonna settle in and really enjoy this. Gary Oldman wouldn't be attached to garbage. Getting a really good vibe like this is a movie length episode of Black Mirror. Then, about the halfway mark, the movie just went off the rails. Sooooooo bad. By the end, it was inching to "so bad it's good" territory.
Bottom line, if you are super bored and desperate to watch something, give it a try but don't expect much. It had some really enjoyable qualities but overall it was roll your eyes laughably bad in the second half.
