Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)
9 stars for a giant monster movie
You're watching a movie about 2 close to 400 foot tall giant monsters fight each other. Don't try to make sense of it. Just enjoy it for what it is.
Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)
Thoroughly enjoyed it
Not a huge fan of any of the DC comics or characters but I do like a good superhero movie. This is def. one of them
Dragons: Rescue Riders: Secrets of the Songwing (2020)
Kids love it
And the songs are starting to get annoying because they all have similar tunes lol... But it's not about me, it's about the kids & they love it.
Sputnik (2020)
Great flick - make sure you turn on CC
It is 100% in Russian. I turned on my "closed captioning" with Amazon Prime. If you don't mind that and like Sci fi you'll like it.
I'm Sorry. (2017)
Was great at 1st but too much Andrea
Don't get me wrong. Andrea is funny and beautiful and does an amazing job with the character. However, it seems like she has 90% of the airtime and it honestly gets tiring. Like others have said, if there were more time for others it'd be a solid 9/10.
The Good Dinosaur (2015)
Underrated Pixar Movie
The more I've watched it with the kids the more I've liked it. Its an amazing animated movie VS Most.
Coronavirus, Explained (2020)
Very informative however 1 early mistake
They say you can get the virus on your hands, then "touch your face" infecting yourself.
They should've said if you "touch your eyes or in your nose and mouth" because, it can't leach through your face skin. You'd have to touch an orifis.
Regardless this is a much watch for anyone who needs info or spews nonsense without doing research. Show your friends who think its "no big deal" or to someone who thinks wearing a mask feels like an infringement on their rights instead of feeling like they're helping everyone else.
Years and Years (2019)
Loved it
I only hope the 2nd episode can live up to the 1st. Reminds me a bit of Black Mirror, in the sense it takes on what could be tech etc. in the near future.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)
Not perfect (CLOSE) but it's a giant monster movie...
How can you possibly have 4 of the classic Godzilla monsters (with some kind of background/explanation),+ human characters (that you care for) + others monsters in less than 2.5 hr movie and have it be perfect? You cant. But you can come close. For every aspect I want to critique (as a 36 yr old life long Godzilla fan that's always wanted the perfect "modern" Godzilla movie) I stepped back and just let it ride. I'm trying so hard not to write a 3 hour review... let's say this. I asked my wife what she'd rate it, and she said 9/10, with or without me being a fan. Me seeing every, single, trailer and TV spot over the last - what - 10 months?!!! I was expecting an hour of battling.. which it isnt... but it's much more entertaining than 2014. However.... I would've honestly LOVED this movie more if I didn't see all of those trailers. If you're a Godzilla fan and saw all the trailers, it may have ruined a bit for you... but all that being said. Best Godzilla movie made yet IMO.
Rostered On (2016)
Liked it
You'll love it if you have or still do work retail.
Bert Kreischer: Secret Time (2018)
Funny
I like fat Bert. I like hearing him on the Joe Rogan podcast & Your Moms house Podcast etc. That's how I got to know the seasonally plump chuckler. This specials kinda funny... I even lol'd a couple times. I had a strong urge to drink a bottle of Titos I have in my freezer as soon as he took off his shirt though...Tiny T-Rex arms. Worth a watch!
Godzilla (2014)
My childhood wish became real
I'm an absolute Godzilla nerd since I've been a child. I never got into much of anything else comic/movie wise so I'm a little bias. I thought the movie was very good. Godzilla looked amazing & I like they took a serious approach to the movie. However, there were a few things that I couldn't overlook that bothered me. I know I'm prob. Being picky but... 1st Godzillas atomic breath wasn't as powerful as it shouldve been. The initial one looked amazing but it hardly hurt the smaller muto, just pushed it back. With the breath building up beautifully the way it did, and him puffing his chest etc. It shouldve blew that muto through a few buildings at least, or killed it/put a hole in it. Also if it weren't for distractions it appeared Godzilla would've been killed. I think he shouldve been stronger VS. The Mutos. I just didn't feel satisfied that he beat them up.. it was more he got lucky. I know it was 2 v 1 but, as a Godzilla nerd he appeared slightly weaker than most Godzilla fans would've liked to see.
Loved the movie overall though. Can't wait for 2nd!!!
