Fallout (2024)
Compelling
I'm not a huge gaming nerd so I didn't have a huge stake In this show being a perfect adaption, but this is the most unique thing that has been on television in a very, very long time. Of course, all the actors are amazing and that we all love from different things. The world building is vast and interesting and terrifying. Of course, we all contemplate the end of the world and what happens after the world ends but this put a very interesting spin on it because it does kind of put in your face how much capitalism is tied into every single aspect of our lives and our deaths. I hope there are many more seasons because there is so much to explore.
Genie (2023)
The world needed something sweet like this
I know people think this movie is too sweet, but honestly the world needed something like this. I mean a couple reasons why but are we not allowed to have sweet things in the world especially considering how hard every day is. I appreciate the people still want to make movies like this. This is a movie you can watch with your family or by yourself and have a good laugh and maybe think about what's important to you. Also, can we just say it's nice to see a happy black family that has real love for one another and quite frankly, and this might be a spoiler but none of the black characters die, which is a great thing. More of this please!
The Curse (1987)
Don't watch this movie
Don't watch this movie! Wil Wheaton has said time and time again that he was abused on the making of this film so if you want to respect the actors who were children at the time don't watch this movie!
Lady of the Manor (2021)
A waste of talent
There are several actors in this movie who are very talented and their time is wasted in this film. The idea is neat but the execution was terrible. If you want to watch some thing with this idea go watch the show GHOSTS, which is leaps and bounds better than this movie.
Noelle (2019)
Very cute!
It was a nice family movie with a great message. What more could you ask for? It want something uplifting and positive, give it a watch.
Space Cop (2016)
Fun Time
If you love RLM......just buy this, open a beer and have fun. Don't expect Citizen Cane. Just enjoy the silliness. Have fun....life is short!
Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018)
How to be a great friend!
What a great movie about dreams, friendship and new opportunities. It was perfect amount of time for a family movie. I loved how the internet was brought to life. I kind of wish I could travel the internet that way. Go have a fun family night watching it.
Take This Waltz (2011)
Seth Rogen As You Have Never Seen Him
It's a movie about love, lust, marriage, personal responsibilities and flaws. The surprise is Seth Rogen, who is know for being loud and brass. Here he is a man of few words, but powerful ones know the less. He is stripped away of the normal gags he is normally know for and portrays probably someone much closer to the person he probably is in real life. His interactions with his wife are the truest I have seen on screen to date. It's always shocking to see a comedian loss the laughing mask to reveal the scared, flawed person inside, but Seth does it well and I could see him easily slipping into dramatic territory as his career processes. I highly recommend it if you can watch people at their most painful, raw and broken.
Music and Lyrics (2007)
Love it!
So, finally got to see Music and Lyrics. It was WONDERFUL! A perfect date movie for all ages of couples. It was sweet, but realistic. Hugh and Drew played a man and woman coming together awkward and clumsy. They think things about one another, but learn more as the movie moves along. Speaking of moves, who knew Hugh Grant had them, along with a good, no scratch that..a great singing voice. Drew can sing as well, so who knows maybe maybe they will each will put out a c.d. I can't wait till it comes out on DVD, so I can watch it over and over. Also, Drew and Hugh are so cute as a couple and since they are both single, I would love to see them pull a Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck and get together for real, get married and have a cute baby. Yea, I know, it's just a movie, but who knows. Maybe love will find a way into their hearts for one another. ;D
In the Company of Darkness (1993)
One amazing movie and amazing work by the actors
This is one of the best movies out there and that's saying a lot being that it was for television. I really wish it was on d.v.d.
Helen Hunt gave such a raw performance. She played a rookie cop thrown into serial killer case perfectly. When she falls apart because he kills another kid it was amazing. She is so alone, so he gets to her. When she talks about her mother! WOW!
Steven Weber as the serial killer was so shocking! He really brought her into his dark world. It was Oscar-worthy. When he talks about killing the kids, scary! When he realizes who she really is! What a scene!!
They really don't make them like that anymore. It was a real thriller without being gory.
