What Were They Thinking

I don't know what IDIOT decided that this would be a good story for the third installment of the X-MEN series. I don't what to say much since others may not have had the chance to check it out yet...but I will say the everyone involved in ruining this picture should hold their heads in shame! Shame! Shame! Shame! If you are a huge fan of the x-men comics and the two previous films then you may agree that this one has been mucked all over! The writing is so far out there you wonder if they gave an intern a crack at it. It seems that no consideration was taken in following all the characters back stories. Obviously you don't want to drag it on forever, but you shouldn't just throw new mutants in the mix with only a wink as to why they are involved.

Also, all the relationships are destroyed. They really let this one go to the dogs. Hopefully, these errors in judgment are resolved if there is to be a fourth. Over all X-Men: The Last Stand is a movie I wish would have only been a bad idea. I don't share my bad ideas! Why do filmmakers????

Being Human (1994)

This one is as good as mac and cheese

Dear Movie Fans, I am a huge R. Williams fan so for me this was a treat... I watched this movie by accident while waiting for an extended repair on my car.. anyway it was great...His journey through time had my own imagination going wild...I sat traveling w/him thinking how I would react to these situations...I started to forget it was even Robin Williams in the film as odd as that sounds to some... I was completely sad when this movie ended...from that time on it has been a movie that comforts me when I'm down... please watch if you like both Williams & some soul searching.

Taxi (I) (2004)

Well substance shouldn't be expected

You know going in to this one that its just for the laughs. I really enjoyed "Taxi". They were in the garage with the nitrous, I almost came out of my seat laughing so hard. The actually taxi cab is better eye candy than the three model/bank robbers. I thought the new idea of how to get the money without being caught was clever. I also liked that Jimmy Fallon thought Jen Espositos character was madly in love with him. While she totally blew him off. Queen Latifah I always like,she gives it attitude w/a lil ummph. The music had you jumping,exciting to see what was coming up. The action was good because it wasn't overdone. The dialogue I thought was well balanced. I am not a fan of when they talk to much before something happens. If you like SNL you'll be the type wanting to see "taxi" over & over & over.

There wasn't much to ponder in the movie. Ahhh, who cares?? It was an excellent time. One I think you should share with a group of friends, then laugh over dinner.

Shall We Dance? (2004)

I had a good nap

Honestly I am unsure if I can provide 10 lines about this movie. It was a good nap. I am still wondering why it was even made for theaters. Maybe it could fly as the longest most cheesy soap opera ever to air. I was in the middle of this one and started nodding off. Last time I did that was "to die for". "Shall We Dance" isn't worth time, effort, or money to see. Could have been meant for an older crowd. Crowd without vision. My mother was also bored with this told to often story. I cant say the ending was bad. I am not completely sure if he has an affair w/J lo (to sick of her) or take the high road, which is taking the wife out. Remember the film had me in a state of coma. Ya'll probably think I hate all movies. Not true, I've seen many, its hard to come up with a grand idea. At least one I'm impressed by. If this hit television I would sit through an infomercial before bearing it all over!

Shark Tale (2004)

What can ya say its a kids flick

I've had to sit thru every animated feature since '97 - This one is at the near bottom just above SPIRIT. The kids loved it like always. I just wish they had thought of entertaining the parents a bit. Its REAALLY a slow one. The message with him lying the entire time made me uncomfy. Of course he ended up fine. Someone wants to keep up with PIXAR on all these dreamworks creation. GIVE IT UP PLEASE! Its never going to happen. I guess as long as you make a buck, the poor creation of characters throughout this hokey lil story is okay with you. Jack Black in my mind is never humorous in anything. Can he disappear to a hotel diner? Will Smith can come off with the comment "Its for my kids" the only reasoning in signing up for this project. Angelina Jolie was greatly advertised in the trailer,hardly in the film. Robert D. just irritated me with his part of the unaccepting dad.If he would stop the gangster role that would be a great service to humanity. Yeah I have to buy it-I don't have to like it.

This film starts pretty well with them in the old bathroom. Then it just drags you along from then on. The two mens connection wasn't that great, or maybe just not really explained. (I'm not a pro critic or anything)It seems the writer got excited that he had a lightbulb moment with the films idea. He forgot to close the story. Ooookk Adam is left in the bathroom...is there to be a SAW 2 ? Our killer spits "GAME OVER" but it cant be because he hasn't been caught. Ahhh maybe he dies over his illness suddenly. What of the photographer? He can't see to try for the key in the drain. I didn't like that in the other "games" someone did win (their lives) and in this one they both die? I GUESS ANYWAY. Who classified this one as a HORROR film. Its not in the least scary. Hey I like the flicks idea at least. If you can get a friend to pay the rental fee join them in watching it otherwise don't waste you money!
