Reno 911!: The Hunt for QAnon (2021 TV Movie)

I thought that this was a fun addition to the series. The reason 911! Works is because these performers are so talented, you can just drop them in to almost any situation, and they will deliver something entertaining. This was no different, there are some good laughs and some over the top gags. I got stoned on New Year's Eve and zoned out to this, I'd recommend you get in a similar headspace to get maximum enjoyment.

If I'm being objective, this could have had like 15-20 minutes shaved off of it. Not every gag works, and they could have tightened this up to make a better product.

Countdown (III) (2019)

Fun movie.

Clever premise, yes it borrows from movies like Final Destination and Scream...but those aren't bad films to borrow from. The film is PG 13 and is clearly directed at a younger demographic, so viewing it through that lens opened it up for me. Had some good jump scares, a twist or 2 and a pretty hilarious man of the cloth who comes in during the second half. Great performances and the film looks pretty good. A fun afternoon watch, don't take it (or yourself) to seriously.

I see a lot of negative reviews here, I feel lucky to be blessed with even more Samurai Cop action. Over the top, good times.

For fans of Hitchcock, Argento and slow building tense horror. Masterfully shot, beautiful colors. Attention to detail! This film is set in the 80s and if no one told me it was made in 2009 I wouldn't have known!
