A Futile and Stupid Gesture (2018)

Commedy?!

Remove the "comedy" marking, cause it isn't.

I liked the movie, just for the documentairy part. It really is not a comedy at all. Those two or three laughs i had, where like barely open smiles...

Though, people need to see this, just for knowing how at the time they wehere making movies, making comedy's and how at that time a career was made. I actually find this movie a documentairy about how a career/succesful business is made.

So it is a very worthy film! Especially for the young students in any kind of creative study/career. A must see for those students!

Push any limit, and don't let anyone tell you what to do.

About the film itself, i genually like all these actors. Most of them seen or recognised from other films or series. I love the actors choice. I've seen (actually in this documentairy-film itself) how they can really act and even place themselfs in a roleplay, playing a roleplay. How strong is that! Applause👏🏼 Just really cool the way you did👌🏼 (...🔨 it!)

Life on Our Planet (2023– )

Boring.

Nice enough to get to sleep though.

Ofcourse the images of nature are beautiful, but it is really boring. This has bern done and told for decades over and over again, that it very much bores me. Our story of life is what it is, but there's nothing, not even a little bit new to this. Weren't there any new discoveries and connections in the last decades?! Did the earths history slightly changed anything? It's so boring to get this same story over and over again. I know it did, but it's not the new details that's added and told to the evolutionary of this documentairy. I'm hoping for something new soon.

It could be a much longer story in more detail (for some maybe more boring, not to me) with more seasons and episodes... I'm have some hope someone is going to create such kind of docu instead. Yes the story would be in the long lines the same, but could be more amazing.

Literally till the end.

It is a really great work with all twists and turns, which asks for a more intelligent viewer and a very focussed/concentrated viewer. (The kind i find myself to be) I like these kind of films because they're smart in storyline.

This one in particular has like many storylines which could have been written into many more films like prequels and sidebranches.

But... in this movie. I loved all the movie and sideways literally "untill" the end. Really "untill" the end, because i hate the dead end of the main character in this movie.

Greatly, i've seen it on "oldschool" dvd, which has a few alternative endings...

Which the first one was even more disappointing.

But the second ending in this extended/alternative ending... it seems slow and dull, but if they had shortened it a bit in just a few shots, it could be even the best ending because it leaves some seeds in the brain of the viewer and that actually makes room for a lot of fantasy. And room for a sequal. People would have want to see the next film, you could've had people hooked!

It could really be the best ending, (Or maybe even some sort of a loop), if they had started the whole movie with xxxx in some-sort of an equally likely scene.

To bad they didn't.

Buba (2022)

Loved it.

Usually (read not often) i do not tend to see movies in other then English or Dutch spoken movies... I liked this one. With the chapters and all it seamed like a Quinten Tarantino movie. Also had a great laugh at hilarious weard situations of this film.

It deserves the eight i gave. 🙌🏼

I always love movie's and docu's about space. But from the firat minutes of this document i was enoyed about the actor/presentator of the docu. You can obviously see how he read his text while he tries to look into the camera.

The rest of de docu is rather nice to see. Most stuff i already knew, some stuff are inaccurate by my means.

I liked the movie. Tho it has a few bummers...

First of al the moment you realise Sam is a clone, but later on that fact makes it more interesting.

But, when that's is the new fact, (the hurtfull fact he has no family and all), the audience expects more to come when one of the Sam's finally escapes...

So here we come to the "second of all", the end of the movie is to soon! At the end you see one of the Sams escape back to earth and the audience has to settle with... Just a audio recording how it disturbs earth. :/ That was a big bummer!

Overall, i still enjoyed watching it. (I don't like to post reviews containing spoilers, but this tome i couldn't get around to do so). And because i still liked watching, it is still worth a 7!

Enjoy watching moviefans and especially scifi-fans. Keep making movies, and binge alot!

Typical view of Americans that think they know how things where in early times... And how european where at that time... Mis-written "history" and too much fantasy on how things work or are possible, by my colorfull, fantasy but also history-realizing taste.

Good movie. As my Dutch-Frisian roots are ofcourse i am fan of the old Frisia-Freeman spirit... (Watch the history in the movie Redbad).... Because of the free-man thought and spirit, i'll always carry in mind the brothers De Wit, and Michiel de Ruyter.... (All murdered in some way...)

But......to bad the victor always writes History!

Wake up people of The Netherlands! (And actually all kingdoms of europe and there elite powers).

I've been waiting to see the movie for a few years. Happy now to finally have seen it, and after century's finally have some recognition to my roots pride... Which mostly has to do with (real) freedom, true justice and some more accuracy about the true history. I hope the story will be told along time after And during many genarations to come.

Bad remake of 2001 A space odyssey

Very slow-mo movie like a familiar and good movie i know... Yes, this movie is like a bad, no a horrible remake/rip-off of the overall and ever greatest movie: "2001 a space odyssey"

It's just sad we can't make movie's as good as we did 3 centuries ago.

The movie overall was pretty Allright/good, especially for Spanish terms. The twists were mediocre the endplot sucked. Overall, i did liked to watch it because it was so very different kind of movie and the story kept on going. The writer has a lot of fantasy, but not enough experience as a director. (If there was a separate director, he has missed his chance to make a worldwide #1 movie)

As i just say the trailer... i decided, uhm: No. How did anyone even think this trailer would even sell one ticket? If the trailer already is that B-full, the whole movie must be far worse even.

Most horrible B, no Z movie i ever had to watch. After the "subtile" introduction i was like "oookai" then the intro-music started... while listening to that incoherend lyrics and simple melody, together with the scrappy views and graphics, i had to run for the toilet to puke my guts empty.

How can anyone distroy any low bidget on this kind of crap? Better safe more budget or find more funds (and more qualified staff/actors) to make a real B-movie.

Predictable as hell from minute 2 of the movie and due to the whole storyline. Don't even mention the plot... Although i liked most of the cast.. Will Smith should be banned from comic movie's at all.

DC should GIVE the rights back to Marvel!

Time Trap (2017)

Liked it, but i wish it had more end closing

I really like these kinda movies. This one was really cool, expected more SF shown. Especially at the end i would have liked more closing(Hopper having contact with his mom and dad stuff like that). Also a tour at the new world millions of years later would be cool. But hey, thats where my fantasy can start drawing in... isn't it;)

As many people around really likes this movie... last years i tried several times to watch the thing. Still... dumb humor. Just to dumb! Also (and maybe a substantial reson to) i really hate the old "national lampoons" "star" named Ryan Reynolds... How horrible fake his face is.
