Fringe (2008–2013)
10/10
Better Than Any SyFy show like it including XFiles
14 February 2013
Warning: Spoilers
I completely believe that unlike x files fringe gave the fans an epic send off without us worrying about where are they now etc.. because we know Spoiler alert Walters in the future showing that emotions do not have to be remover to increase intelligence, and Peter and Olivia are happily married with Etta as the little girl they adore, whilst still being with the FBI looking into fringe events. Alt Livia and Lincoln are married and have a kid with Alt becoming the boss of Fringe division and Walternet finally retired from being the Secretary of Defence and is teaching students again (Those poor kids).

And it does all this whilst still leaving it open for future movie/movies without destroying five seasons of the greatest syfy show EVER! X-Files Bah give me FRINGE!!

Cracked (2013–2014)
9/10
Great Start for a show with Loads of Potential
9 January 2013
When I first heard about Cracked and the idea of the new unit I was somewhat on the fence about how it would translate to the screen and how good it would actually be. But I was pleasantly surprised to see the show was excellent David Sutcliffe's portrayal of Aidan the somewhat "Cracked" Detective whose operational history makes him one of the best cops in the department, whose new partner is not a detective but a psychiatrist who doesn't carry a gun plays out brilliantly Stefanie con Pfettens portrayal of Dr Daniella Ridley is also excellent with their being good chemistry between the two quite opposite people. Although we don't see very much of the other partnership of Detectieve Poppy Wisnefski played by Luisa D'Oliveira and Psychiatric Nurse Leo Beckett played by Dayo Ade what we do see of them leaves me with high hopes of how they interact as a partnership and also of how the whole group will play off of each other with two trained officers and two mental health professionals will allow both sides to give us new perspectives on each individual crime and the criminals themselves with the first episode showing this as well. Overall a great start for a show with a lot of potential.

What a rare film
22 March 2012
Warning: Spoilers
If you've read the books this will contain no spoilers what so ever but if you have not read the books as of yet this will. I've seen amazing books ruined when they were made into films e.g Eragon but this film will not be amongst them this film starts slow with them showing the relationships with Katniss giving her a back story, and this only helps the film with the later stages being one adrenalin rush after another. With the little breaks for example when Katniss takes the time to put flowers over and around Rue's body and then back to the adrenalin when you see what reaction this has in Rue's district (The Riot). I must also tip my hat to Jennifer Lawrence when I first saw she'd been cast as Katniss I wasn't sure she could pull it off but I was wrong she did it amazingly. When this film ended I and quite a few other people in the cinema clapped once or twice it was just that good all I can say is bring on Mockingjay. To end I will say this if you liked the film you'll like the book and if you like the book you'll like the film. Or as in my case if you loved the book you will love this film.

Becoming Human (2011– )
8/10
This Deserves More
23 March 2011
Warning: Spoilers
With the 8 short episodes this show showed its potential and more if anything it was somewhat wasted and rushed. So what this really needs is a second season with the episodes being of equal length to those of its parent show being human allowing us to get more embroiled in the lives of Adam, Christa, and Matt. It has a lot of things going for it like great actors who share a lot of chemistry, great writing, and finally lots of potential for example the premise of a Vampire and a Werewolf dating as the potential is most definitely their with the one or two kisses we got this season. Thank god its on the BBC where it will get the chance (Unlike certain American TV Networks like FOX (See Firefly))

Surprisingly Good
16 September 2010
After watching the first two episodes of this new series from the CW I was surprised to find myself getting into it, I expected this to be a copy off Bring It On with the writing being predictable and the acting poor, but watching this show I can see it has the potential to become the next One Tree Hill as it has everything their with the threat of loosing everything the team has to work together to pull off a winning season. The choreography is good allowing the cheering scene's and the practice's to flow. The main characters already have a good chemistry and I can see this show becoming one of the best CW shows ever made in the teen drama area.

Great and Unmissable
24 November 2009
Anyone who see's this movie and who has read the book actually needs to bow down and appreciate their is so little skipped over it is amazing and anyone who says theirs no chemistry between Rob and Kirsten must be blind. I've now watched this movie 3 times and every time it roots me in place and I just had to stay until the end no matter how much I wanted the toilet or needed a drink. Everyone who I've spoken to loves it so I don't understand how anyone can hate it so much its ridiculous. The film is so smooth running and enjoyable even for me a man that I must admit its broken through the GIRLS film with the right mix of action, emotions, and romance it is just unbelievable. For anyone with a spare 2 and a half hours this is a must see film whether you're old, young, male, or female this is one film you've got to take the time out to see.

Supernatural: Sympathy for the Devil (2009)
Season 5, Episode 1
10/10
Wow !!!
11 September 2009
When I watched the last episode of season 4 I though the show might have finally gone to far but it hasn't and if anything its only gotten better. I think this season is going to be one of the best the episode keeps you guessing and not only that allows you to really understand things much better. With Carver "Chuck" Edlund as the prophet returning as the voice of god with his Sam and Dean stories. I can see this season is going to be interesting with him disobeying the angels and attempting to help Sam and Dean fight the Demons. The only thing that might fall apart is that Sam is going to have to do a lot of work to regain the trust he lost at the end of season 4.

Just give it a chance
3 June 2009
Warning: Spoilers
The listener starts off a little slowly with little real character info given to us the viewer it is as though we've been thrown in at the deep end without a float but as the show continues we see more about the lives of the characters and their personalities. Toby Logan is a foster kid bounced from home to home and eventually becomes a paramedic but here's the thing he can read your mind and instead of hiding like he had done all his life he uses his talent to help save people's lives and solve crimes for one of his female counterparts Detective Charlie Marks. This show make take a little bit of time for you to get used to but it is a worthwhile view.

All I can say is this is one for me!

Witty, Funny, and Well Wrote
5 January 2009
This is a new show just starting off and so far so good, this is one of the newest ideas to come to t.v in a long time. A lot of people have said how this is a rip off of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, well its not this is something completely different. This show although new to out screens is extremely well wrote, funny, and witty.

As the show begins we're introduced to our cast of characters Van Helsings last living descendant Luke, his father who died 15 years earlier. Rupert Lukes godfather who is their to aid him in his battle. Ruby his best friend (who clearly wants to be more) And finally Nina the blind music prodegy who has certain special abilities, someone who Luke may want to be a bit more.

Roswell (1999–2002)

One to Miss
28 December 2008
I say one to miss for the opposite reason to what you may think, with brilliant scripts, good actors, and witty if not quirky story lines I believe Roswell was a show that was cut off in its prime. I grew up watching this programme when I was going through my teenage years and although I'm now a lot older and wiser this is a show I always seem to end up coming back to whether with re-runs on t.v or when I decide to watch the episodes on DVD (yes I own all three seasons).

This is the kind of show that quite simply has never been matched in my opinion and probably never will be I sometimes find myself imagining where are Max, Liz, Isabell, Michael, Maria, and Kyle are now. The worst thing about it is you know their are so many unanswered questions e.g Antar?, Maria and Michael?, and will Kyle ever decide to tell Isabell about his feelings for her.

I just wish that they would bring it back.

Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant
14 January 2007
This is the best new show I've seen in a long time and the casting is brilliant skeet ulrich would not of been my first choice for the role of Jake but the more I watch the more Skeet grows into the role and not to mention anything that could spoil the series but I cannot believe how well the idea/premise behind the show fits with modern day living the who was it how did it happen is intriguing but not only that you have to keep trying to guess who are the good guys who are the bad you'll never see a better piece of t.v with such intrigues as this one I would definitely recommend to people whom like anything lost fans for the intrigue, sci fir fans because of the plot (e.g roswell, buffy, etc), those fans of law and order or csi because of the mystery in the story, and finally those whom like the teary eyed melodramas because of the human angle.

This is definitely a show for everyone good work and keep it up.

Red Dawn (1984)

Red Dawn
28 February 2006
Is a dramatic view of one of the possibilities of the cold war with the Russians invading the united states using the Cuban problem and the Mexican border policy. The idea that a group of young people could hold of the army is a relatively well proved one and the movie proves why this is possible they know the land better than the invaders and they also have enough anger at the cruel way they take people away from them with the advent of the hunt they become to feel less like people and more like Wolverines whom both hunt quietly and inteligently and most importantly in packs this allows them to surround the enemy and take them apart one by one. A well made movie with a great storyline one I'd definitely tell all my friends about.

Spielbergs Masterpiece
13 February 2006
He directs the action throughout the movie and shows his true brilliance in the recreating a moving drama with the anti hero of avner becoming more and more real with every passing scene showing the full range of human emotions from anger and hatred and with the truth of his actions becoming more and more evident to him and also the human cost of what it is doing to his team and the fact that although he believes in avenging the death of the athletes the men he is killing although he is told are terrorist he has no remorse until someone asks what evidence have you seen in relation to their crimes and that begins to dwell on his mind more and more and when he begins to question the facts behind the murders he begins to realise that he the hunter is now becoming the hunted and with more and more of his team getting killed he becomes more and more paranoid with Spielberg highlighting the true human cost brilliantly this is easily the greatest movie he has ever made a true must SEE !!!!!!
