Battlestar Galactica: Razor (2007 TV Movie)

Back to Battlestar Galactica
24 April 2008
As so many I suppose, I've recently started to follow the 4th season of this sci-fi series. After the 3rd Season, I was hoping it to get well back on track, but so far I'm a tad disappointed.

Somehow I stumbled upon this 'Razor' episode that I somehow seem to have missed completely.

For me, this kinda brings back the real Battlestar Galactica feeling. As maybe it may not seem as great as some wonderful episodes in Season 1 or Season 2, it feels still like a great refreshment compared to more recent episodes.

All in all, I'm glad I saw it!

I thought I knew what to expect...

... but the Americans blew me over once more thanks to Michael Moore. As many other reviewers have pointed out, it's time to stop criticizing him for whoever does and start thinking about the message behind this neat film/documentary.

Some things in this movie are just too harsh to be allowed in a modern, western society: people losing their husbands, children through those ill-minded HMO companies. In one way they are close to being heartless criminals. Do something about getting rid of the private insurances and make health care a governmental issue. HMO's should not be a business when it comes to people's health.

Oh yeah, and once more; get rid of that Bush guy next time round, will you.

My kind of show
25 January 2007
People say nothing deserves a 'perfect' 10. But then again I seem to think something doesn't need to be perfect to deserve a '10'.

I have to say I didn't know what to expect when I decided to start watching the Battlestar Galactica series. I didn't see it right from the very beginning because it was nowhere 'popular' in my area. All we got to see was Stargate SG-1, or some shows that never seem to be able to grab me.

What I like about the show is not only the sci-fi. One might think sci-fi is pretty 'prehistoric' when you actually get to the real sci-fi part that's behind this show. I think nobody just 'jumps' like that with that kind of ship and doesn't suffer any (physical) consequences.

What makes me give this show a '10' is the combination of drama, sci-fi and a whole lot of other tiny things that one might miss if you pretend to want to watch the show, while you actually might not really.

I hope it can continue for a while... I'm hooked!
