The Mean One (2022)

I think that perhaps all the bad reviews are from people who also didn't enjoy Velocipastor. So their opinions don't count. It's as of that had no idea what they were getting into when they hit play on a movie about a killer Grinch.
This movie had some pretty clever copyright work arounds that made me giggle, I say go for it just for that alone. It was just the right amount of cheesy gore and horribly bad acting. Blend that with a dash of bad jokes and you end up with this genius level masterpiece.
This transcended bad horror movie, it should have its own category. What should that category be, you ask? I don't know, watch it and you decide.
The Best Man: The Final Chapters (2022)
Loved loved loved it
This was a really great way to end the series. For the most part, I really enjoyed the way that each character developed and how their "lives" turned out. I was also really surprised at how easy it was to fall back into the characters. It was like no time passed, it felt like getting connected again with old, dear friends. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention that Morris Chestnut looks better and better with each of them, yes, I did go back and watch the first two movies.
This was a really good way to spend the holiday weekend and I think that everyone should have a Best Man Marathon weekend.

This is my go to podcast for all things crazy. You never know what you're going to get but you know it'll be interesting and told in a way that makes you feel like you're out at brunch with your friends talking true crime And if that's not what you talk about at brunch, get new friends.
Rise Up, Sing Out (2022)
Absolutely wonderful
This was so great! I think that anyone who is upset by this needs to understand that the world is diverse and not everyone is alike which is great. I was really pleased with the way this was done.
The Guilty (2021)
The worst movie ever
So many bad things. Horrible acting. Stupid storyline. No one leaves a dying baby and their 6 year old sister alone to drive their deranged mother to an insane asylum.
And are we supposed to be happy that he admitted to killing someone in the line of duty because he hates his life? Is that just forgiven because he cried about it? The cure for police brutality isn't to stop killing people, especially people of color, the cure is more white tears? No.
This was awful, offensive to people of color, to people with mental health issues, to the people answering 911 calls every day.
Awful. How was this even released in this day and age?
Interpreters (2019)
I have no idea what I just watched
This was 2 hours of huh?? I lost the plot 15 minutes in and spent the rest of the time laughing at the horribleness.
Ab Negative (2019)
Least enjoyable movie I've ever seen
While I do appreciate fam coming out and giving all of the positive reviews for the movie that their people were in, let's be honest here. This movie was pure garbage. It felt like something an eight-year-old came up with and filmed with their iPhone in their backyard. No, an eight-year-old could do better than this.
