The Mandalorian (2019– )

Without a doubt, the best Star Wars.... ANYTHING!

Don't get me wrong, there are fantastic Star Wars shows and films out there. The original trilogy still slaps, Attack of the Clones is a hoot, and the downfall of Anakin as well as the showdown between he and Obi Wan makes Revenge of the Sith a masterpiece. I've enjoyed the episodes of The Clone Wars that I've seen, and I'm sure the diehards will scoff (rightly so) that I've not seen it all LOL.

Book of Boba Fett is okay, The Manadalorian showing up saves it. I have high hopes for Ahsoka and Andor. But everyone knows the Disney Star Wars films are bad. (Although I personally enjoyed Solo).

But The Mandalorian is an entirely different class. The bold move to bring on a huge star to lead and rarely show his face was ballsy, but his voice is good enough. Action is great, storyline is great, Grogu may have seemed like a cash grab but is beautifully handled. They make you feel for an android, root for a baby who can fight, cheer for the bad guys turned good, and can somehow show emotion of characters who are always masked. They've rebooted Carl Weathers as a formidable actor, and the music.... Ahhhh the music. Words cannot describe.

Sit down with a bowl of popcorn or some Klatooine Paddy Frogs, as you prefer, and enjoy currently 24 episodes of the best Star Wars property in existence. You do need to stop and watch Book of Boba Fett before season 3, and it may be a struggle at first. But I promise it's worth it.

Doctor Who: Fear Her (2006) Season 2, Episode 11

Unfortunately, it is the worst. Unfortunate reason as well.

It's a fantastic concept, and it could have been a fantastic episode. I hate to say this, because I never want to rag on a child, and perhaps it's not even her fault, as the casting directors should have never let her get past the first stage. But unfortunately, the child actor who plays Chloe just makes this an unbearable watch. Again, probably isn't her fault exactly. Like I said, the casting directors, the actual director, every adult on set should have stopped this in its tracks.

Please remember, I do not want to hate on this little girl, she doesn't deserve that. No need for that. But it's definitely the reason it fell flat.

Black Mirror: Mazey Day (2023) Season 6, Episode 4

Absolutely the worst episode of the series.

Slowest build up ever in a Black Mirror episode, culminating in a cliched, unimaginative, badly done CGI, lazy "twist". Not worth your time.

Additionally, about a 7 minute long scene (not exaggerating) where you literally can't even watch due to constant paparazzi camera flashes like you've never seen before. I'm sure the DP thought it was "new" and "cool", but it's sincerely headache inducing, even for non-epileptics.

Honestly, this season is the worst yet, which is a damn shame cuz they had some great guest stars.

In summary, it's the worst episode ever, in the worst season, of a show I onced gave a 10/10. Thumbs down. Take a pass on Mazey Day. Instead, just have yourself a lazy day.

The Blackwell Ghost (2017 Video)

ATTN: Gullible People! This is NOT real.

It's just marketing, like Blair Witch. It's a short film. There is no "whether it's real or not", no. It's NOT. Sorry to burst your bubble, but letting people think this is real slows down the human race. Humans can be a great species if we all increase our intelligence. Ghosts are not real. Neither is God, Santa Claus, or the Easter Bunny. But that's OKAY!! Supernatural does not need to be real, because nature is super enough.

Just enjoy films for being films. It's all fake, and that's fun! Truly believing in the fantastic is silly. Religion was the worst thing that ever happened to the human race.

That being said.... this one sucks. You wanna be scared? Suspend disbelief for 90 minutes and pretend monsters and ghosts are real? Watch The Blair Witch Project.

The Matrix Resurrections (I) (2021)

Waited a year.... What a letdown.

I tried to love it, and I laughed once or twice. NPH is good, but.... I don't know what I just saw. Worst one yet. I'd be pissed if I bought a movie ticket for this.

Impractical Jokers: The Movie (2020)

Deserves at least a solid 7, so trying to fix the ratings.

Fantastic movie. Lovers of the show will love this. People are so hard on their sketch, because people think their beloved IJ will be replaced by sketch (same reason Jokers Wild failed). People, let artists be artists! The Tenderloins knocked IJ out of the park, they knocked Jokers Wild out of the park, and they combined them to knock this movie out of the park.

This movie is tongue-in-cheek. It's just for a laugh everyone. The acting is meant to be silly and fun, and it's not to be taken seriously. It's perfect and right on par with The Tenderloins. A+!!! Ignore the negative reviews, because there's a reason this went from just a few theatres to 2000+ theaters. The real fans loved it, and all the low ratings here are from haters who fancy themselves critics. Love this movie, and I hope there are more to come!!

The Walking Dead: World Beyond (2020–2021)

Only watch if you love TWD and want more info, otherwise save your brain cells

The writing is awful, god awful. "So grin, girl"?? Barf. The acting by the main two girls and long haired guy is unbearably bad. This shows only saving grace is its connection to TWD. Otherwise, mind-numbingly terrible work.

Robin Hood (2010)

Vastly Underrated

Two dollars worth of advice for free - Give this film a chance!

It's not your typical Robin Hood, but that doesn't matter. Who wants the same old story we've all seen 100 times? This is a much more enjoyable, star-studded, action packed, historical fiction.

Fantastic acting. Absolutely top tier. Sit back, and enjoy a medieval thrill ride!

Band of Brothers (2001)

Realistic

It's real. It's horrific.

All good. No, not historically accurate, cuz it's not a documentary. It's a TV show. Fun, enjoyable, and seasons 4 and 5 are just as good. People are likely just complaining due to Ragnar's death. Which no one wanted, but they're trying to make it quasi-accurate.

Watch and love it!

Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne (2019) Season 8, Episode 6

Perfect and beautiful

If you thought this was going to have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

All the people who hate on the last episode and last season - you are troglodytes. You think it makes you look cultured, but you come off so bitter.

I know tens, if not hundreds, of people who watch this show. Not a SINGLE one of them watched from Day 1 like I did. I truly know NOONE who has watched since April 17th, 2011, but I did. And, then I proceeded to watch every episode 3-5 times during the week leading up to the next episode. Through this near decade, I have seen every single episode anywhere from 5 to 20 times.

You can talk when you've spent a decade of your life watching, re-watching, dealing with the emotional rollercoaster, desperate for the next season, withdrawling, and countless other things that go with this show BEING your 20s.

Bring on the hate, but the final episode was perfect. The final season was perfect. GOT is perfect.
