Pantheon (2022)
A Tedious Viewing Experience
I recently watched "Pantheon," and I must admit that it was a rather boring and uneventful journey. While I understand that different shows cater to various tastes and preferences, "Pantheon" left me feeling completely underwhelmed.
The storyline of "Pantheon" felt sluggish and lacked any significant plot twists or engaging elements that would keep me interested. It seemed like the writers were struggling to come up with fresh ideas, and as a result, the narrative became stagnant and predictable.
One of the major issues was the characters in "Pantheon." They were one-dimensional and lacked depth, making it difficult to connect with or care about their fates. The lackluster performances from the cast of "Pantheon" further exacerbated the problem, leaving the viewer without any emotionally resonant moments.
The pacing of "Pantheon" was another issue. Many episodes felt unnecessarily drawn out, with prolonged scenes that added little to the overall story. The slow pace of "Pantheon" made it challenging to maintain interest, and I often found myself checking the time in hopes that the story would eventually pick up.
Additionally, the visuals and production quality of "Pantheon" were lackluster, failing to compensate for the weak plot and character development. "Pantheon" lacked innovation in terms of cinematography and effects, adding to the overall sense of monotony.
In summary, "Pantheon" was a tedious viewing experience that failed to captivate or entertain. While some may appreciate a slower and more deliberate storytelling style, this series did not offer the depth or intrigue required to sustain interest. I would recommend potential viewers to explore other options with more engaging content.
Ahsoka (2023)
Terrible, except the blonde cutie and her master
Originally I found the show had some interesting things to offer, like secondary characters, but starting episode 5 the main character occupies the entire episode and since she is absolutely unlikable from the beginning I had to fast forward the entire episode. I realized the only fun I had watching the show is the blonde crazy girl and her master, a.k.a. The bad guys. The rest is boring. The main character is arrogant, self-satisfied, I just cannot respect her nor find her worth watching. The other 'good' girl, Sabine, is okay. Not great, not terrible, just okay. The other other 'good' girl, the green thing with her plastic whatever stuff growing on (or out of?) her head is boring. What else? I just don't see the point of this 'Ahsoka' character. Who was she designed for? Or is the actress that renders the character unlikable? I couldn't say. Probably both. Anyway.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023)
Waste of my time and money
I did not like crystal skull and found it quite boring. I was skeptical about this new installment of Indiana Jones franchise, if only because the subtitle font was so tiny and Indiana Jones' face was dark on the poster. Anyway, I gave it a shot. It started all cliché, "Americans are good" "Germans/Nazis are bad", very childish, very usual, nothing interesting let alone innovative here. So all I could do was to focus on the de aging process used to make Ford look younger. It looked like CGI all along, even like a video game poorly animated. Then the "real" movie starts, with the old Ford. After one hour, I still didn't get the point of watching this movie at the theater but I definitely felt the urge to go to the restroom to empty my bladder. So I left the room, went to the restroom. And since it was located next to the theater doors, I also indulged myself in smoking a cigarette outside, which I don't remember even doing during a movie at the theater. And when I was outside, I found the cloudy sky quite beautiful. It was all shades of dark grays, and some dark birds were flying at low altitude. That definitely made me realize I was wasting my time in that theater and there were more beautiful / interesting things to watch than this Indiana Jones whatever. I actually never came back to my seat, even though I had bought popcorn and some juice and I had left those in the room.
Emily in Paris (2020)
Bad
Bad. Since there is no freedom of speech on this website, I will limit my review to saying this show is an insult to mankind. Cheap acting, ridiculous Paris representation, diversity extremism, the main actress is not even American she is British. Filming is amateurish at best, story is non existent, this is just an annoyance that provokes nausea, hair loss and probably cancer. Don't encourage this by watching or even mentioning it. This is like being forced into a cult that transforms your brain into mush. I'm not sure what's left to say about it. No, I did not like it in case you're still wondering.
