X-Men '97: Lifedeath - Part 2 (2024)
Storm
A Storm is coming on the horizon and for that, the X-men are now getting prepared with the return of two of their most powerful members.
In general, I love that every character is getting the protagonism they deserve, You don't feel like anyone is forgotten in the shadows. The Beauty of the show increases constantly giving us Moments to remind.
This show is actually surprinsing me every day, it gets better and better, and it promises to take us to another level. We will be waiting for.
As a kid I used to enjoy the show in a lower level because i couldnt get the whole meaning of the story, now, as a young adult I think I'm ready to appreciate the complexity of the comic.
The Last of Us: Long, Long Time (2023)
a true love story
This was an amazing and beautiful episode.
Something about this show nobody cant deny is the acting, everyone give us a great performance, and even if they are alive for just one episode the acting is superb.
We got involved in the story and the magic of every one. I mean, at first I thought I would see just Joel and Elie during every episode but I am surprised to see a lot of characters along their way with a story arc that is interesting and well acted.
So, i am very pleased with episode 3, and cannot wait for what's next.
I never played the game, so i am discovering everything and every aspect of the show.
The Last of Us: Infected (2023)
Anna Torv
Anna Torv playing Tess was the perfect choice for the role.
She is an amazing actress who has never chosen a wrong show. She was on Fringe, Mindhunter, Secret City and The Newsreader. She was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G in every single show, so, I wasnt surprised with her acting on The Last Of Us.
Anyway, I was expecting she would last more, and fans will say it was because of the game, but, i hope we can see her on flashbacks again.
I mean, that kiss was amazing, that final act was a badass goodbye, she deserves a beautiful ending and she got it. I am sad Tess is no alive but the character did what she needed to.
The Walking Dead: Rest in Peace (2022)
What?
Let's start with the fact that Judith was dying and suddenly she had the strength to rise up and secure Daryl's life. Daryl and Carol, against all protocol, carry out a transfusion in less than 2 minutes and save Judith, who, without removing the bullet or suturing her wound, revives.
Then, Gabriel, Eugene and Rosita, instead of waiting in the truck where they were sheltered, they prefered to go out instead of asking for help. Then, Eugene who adores Rosita, and Gabriel who loves Rosita, left her behind to climb the pipelines. She is the only one who carries the girl hanging from the front (so as not to hurt her when she falls), she obviously falls, but emerges from the fall doing one last act of her bravery (and showing that she is the most atrocious woman in the entire universe from TWD, which I agree with, because she was the best and most audacious female character).
Later, it is revealed that Rosita was bitten, not on a leg, abdomen, or ear, even on a hand, but on the shoulder-back, where the skin was safer (she was wearing a double sweater, and the kangaroo garters where he was carrying Coco, even, having fallen on her back, the bite was more logical in the front, or in Coco's body). Zombis are not that strong to bite every area if is fully covered.
Did anyone notice that when Rosita climbed, the stunt of her was noticeably bigger than Christian Serratos (the stunt didn't correspond physically, she's more like a man)?
Let's be honest, the walking dead was a story of a lot of killers that we sympathized with because it was the story that we were told. They are just as evil at times as the villains are. But in the end, everyone was touched and began to forgive? Maggie forgave Negan, the group forgave Pamela, Yumiko and Magna got together again . They all began to spread their love. Suddenly.
Aaron, Elijah, and Jerry returned for the final photo, having been uninjured. That makes me realize, no one else was hurt aside from Judith's weird injury and Daryl's black eye.
Daryl abandonned Judith, who takes care of those children now?
Finally, a forced, unexciting sequence of Michonne and Rick, a trailer esencially, with a count of all the characters that went through the series.
In conclusion, the chapter was rubbish, if someone was pleased that was not my case. I expected more, I expected a little bit of realism in the middle of the fiction (if you know what I mean). I expected blood, devastation, tragedy, that was what the final sequence of episode 23 implied. I expected something like the end of season two, but it never happened.
I'll keep the good episodes from when the series was good and promised a lot, but this chapter, this ending, was a hoot. 3.5/10.
The Walking Dead: Family (2022)
A walking dead episode
Finally...., this is by far the best episode of S11 Part III, I think this will make you feel excited about the series finale.
Next episode promises a lot of zombies, some major character deads, and maybe one or two comebacks.
This episode feels like a final season, I think they lost a lot of time, this was what I was waiting for, the real antagonist we needed are the walkers, at the end, this is what everybody should be scared of in a show like this.
This episode reminds me of S2 finale, which for me, was one of the best episodes of the entire show.
Andrea came to my mind as one character that could be so awesome but they didnt gave her enough time.
Now I am rooting for Rosita and Aaron. Does anyone else think they would make a great duo for a new TWD show?
The Walking Dead: A New Deal (2022)
Not bad... but really weak
I dont feel like this is the last season and that just 6 episodes are missing to reach the finale. This is weird, but I am not excited to see what is coming next, because everything seems so repetitive and boring.
I was expecting more dangerous situations, constant fights, a lot of walkers, and this is just like a filler episode.
I really hope they bring a great finale beause I watched this tv show for eleven years. I am fan, used to be a great fan. One of those who reads theories, create new ones, research for details, now, I care more about for the next trailer to see if something good will come.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)
Really?
I cannot say this is a bad movie, but it fails to be a great one.
1- After "Infinity War" Wanda got depressed, looking for revenge during "Endgame" and then, getting mad on "Wanda Vision" but at the end she seemed to understand she could be a real danger to people and she doesn't want that. But, suddenly in "Doctor Strange in the multiverse of Madness" she becomes a serial killer destroying everyone she can, how many people did she kill? MANY, but it doesn't matter because in the end, she finds her sanity just like that, in a beat. Really?
2- The most powerful telepath in the world gets to face her, well, with his power Xavier controlled the phoenix for a while, and Wanda is NOTHING against the PHOENIX, but Xavier couldn't do anything, he just died. Really?
3- A multiverse where nobody else got involved but Dr. Strange and Wanda, nobody else made an appearance to help the multiverse being in danger. Really?
4- Doctor Strange seemed weak, he did a lot of tricks in other movies but against Wanda he did not much. I expected more from him, did you?
5- A Wanda Mom vs Scarlet Witch fight would have been awesome. It probably would have been better than that Dr. Strange vs Dr. Strange fight.
I loved many things of this movie, like the music when Xavier appeared, the visuals, the zombie Dr. Strange, the 2 minutes fight against the illuminati, but it failed to be as great as I thought it could be when it promised to be about multiverse and madness.
The Newsreader: Meltdown (2021)
Amazing
Whoa, I've got to know about this show because I am a fan of Anna Torv, so, I decided to give it a look. It was really difficult to find the show online as I live in Venezuela and the show is from Australia, well, looking here and there I could see every week during 6 weeks a new episode of this amazing show.
The plot is great, I felt involved by the story, every actor/actress give his/her character a especial quality and beauty that made shine every one.
Anna Torv is simply amazing, she made me feel uncorfortable, worried, mad and in love with her while watching her evolution. Sam Reid made me cry.
Everyone was simply amazing and I hope they get a 2nd season because I feel there are more.
Bravo!!!
American Horror Story: Winter Kills (2021)
Dissapointing
I bet they didnt take the pill to write the finale because it was awful.
First 5 episodes were amazing, but they left much larger plot holes by the end.
Watching the promo for episode 7 I lost the hope of having a connection with first part that could save this disaster from episode 6.
It could have been the best season but they didnt take the pill.
American Horror Story: Gaslight (2021)
Surprinsingly good
I have to admit I wasnt expecting much about this season, honestly, the most insteresting season was Asylum, and of course Murder House but this season has offered a nice story, a good plot, and brilliant performances.
Lilly Rabe here is simply amazing, she is the star this season, she developed an amazing Doris, and i feel like amazed by her.
They gave us a bunch of villans, and we dont even know who is worse, i have never hated so much a character on AHS since Dandy in Freakshow, but Alma is the devil herself.
I am very pleased with this 5 episodes, and cannot wait for the part i finale.
Doris and Karen, both in this episode made ne cry. Oh, Mickey was really good too.
Maybe the aliens will find a way to resurrect Karen or Doris in part II.
Prey (2021)
ehhh
How many people did read the script of this film before filming it?
Pure garbage
No sense.
The Walking Dead: Rendition (2021)
Awful
Ok, let's trust the new one, and kill one of our own members. Just predictable.
One thing I hate about TWD is that they do the show about certain characters and forget about the others.
Now they have Maggie, well, let's forget about the other female characters. Where is Rosita? Where is Magna? Where is Carol? Oh yes, they went for a horse.
I almost sleep watching this episode, where are the walkers? Oh yeah, it is not about zombies at all, is just taking another random enemy and then killing them off during the season.
American Horror Story: Cape Fear (2021)
AHS is back
Anyway, the dancing (kind of) scene through the window got all my attention.
I love the chemestry between Lily and Finn.
Shershaah (2021)
Nice movie
The movie was good but not great.
The writing was awful, they could have found a better way to tell the story.
The use of visual was great, sound too. Some fight scenes were excellent, the action sequences were amazing sometimes.
The romantic scenes were too cheesy, sometimes they seemed like a pop video and the main actor was modeling too much.
The landscapes were amazing, beautiful, perfect.
I enjoyed the film, but I could have been better.
The Newsreader: Three, Two, One... (2021)
First and I am addicted
What a pleasant surprise, Anna Torv and Sam Reid have this beautiful energy that drives the show to a new level. I am really enjoying this concept, the story, everything. Simply amazing.
Aftermath (2021)
It is an ok movie
But can you tell the girl that she doesnt need to free her hands to remove the piece of clothe in her mouth and scream? Hahahaha.
Black Widow (2021)
Fast and Furious
Did anybody else feel like watching Fast and Furious but instead of Letty it was Natasha?
The Handmaid's Tale: Progress (2021)
the raise of an aunt
I dont know why do I see Janine turning into an Aunt?
Anybody else?
Fear the Walking Dead: The Holding (2021)
Althea's brother
You know, since they mentioned some seasons back, that Althea had a brother, some weird situations made me realized that his brother is still alive and at some time they will reveal who is him. In this episode everybody named his brother but she just said: "my brother was my best friend", like it is not yet the time to reveal it.
So, I think Althea is going to be a new connection to TWD, maybe Aaron is her brother, just maybe.
The Walking Dead: Here's Negan (2021)
Enjoyable
Ok, good episode and all, but, can you explain how this guy, who was afraid to kill a zombie, just like that becomes a serial killer, with no regrets, no mercy, just turns into a killer.
I mean, I understand he is deeply sad, he lost the only person who matters in his life, but he turned into a killer, a professional one, he killed a gang, I mean, wtf, really?
Don't F**k with Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer (2019)
Basic Instinct
I feel so sorry by saying this but, this is the best Basic Instinct sequel ever.
I mean, I felt scared, i felt angry, and finally I felt amazed about the guy, he could have been an amazing writer but instead he became a killer.
I feel so happy knowing that people cares about animals. Those cats got justice.
The Walking Dead: Splinter (2021)
Juanita Princess
Whoa, this episode was beautiful. Princess' mind is so deep and fractured, I love the episode, will watch it again, one of the best of this season
Fear the Walking Dead: Welcome to the Club (2020)
Fear
Yes, Fear is back and I am going to watch this episode once again because it was great.
The Boys: Butcher, Baker, Candlestick Maker (2020)
Who caused that situation at the end?
First, I have never read the comics so I have no idea who has that power instead of the bald girl, and it wasnt the bald girl, so, I think it was Stormfront as she control energy, and electricity, so she used the electricity on the brain to make them explode like that, i am just guessing.
Anyway, I do not think it was Homelander's kid because at the beginning of the season somebody who was not the bald girl exploded the head of Susan.
And yes, finally Queen Maeve did something
The Boys: The Bloody Doors Off (2020)
Awesome episode
Now Iceman is Pyro, hahaha.
Im so excited for the bald girl
