Evil Dead: Hail to the King (2000)
Hail to the King!
This game continues the Evil Dead series in true fashion it is one hell of a good game! Bruce Campbell is just as funny as he was eight years ago. This is perfect for any Evil Dead fan and a great survival horror for any gamer! Not only does it continue traditions it continues the story which means you need to watch the films to make complete sense of it but is is still good to play even if your not sure what is going on. The only fault I could find the fact it rips off Resident Evil graphics and he moves badly but everything from the deadites to one-liners will entertain until the credits have rolled. Evil Dead Hail to the King is just like Sam Raimi has directed it.
Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Dark Forces II (1997)
What a game!
Well its now about eight years old and I still play it. This game still retains the magic of the Star Wars universe. No matter how you look at this game you will fall in love with it whether it is the live-action actors in the CGI world and amazing character or the very well built up and atmospheric light sabre battles with unforgettable Dark Jedi. This game though has lost a little shine shown by the way enemies just spawn out of no where and of course graphics have been shown up by todays standards (although do not let that sway your'e decision). The music of the game is pure John Williams it is just like watching a real Star Wars movie. This can still match up with todays Jedi Knight games it is better than Mysteries of the Sith, equal with Jedi Academy and only just goes below Jedi Outcast. The Dark and Light force system is a great way of having force (pun intended) over your destiny of light or darkside. The choice of weapons is impressive enough for a game but it isn't very verified (eg the Bryar and Stormtrooper Rifle). I also reckon they could of had one more weapon instead of fist when you get the lightsaber. But overall this game could still be considered one of the Lucas Arts crowing achievements. Rating 9.5/10
