The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003)
What a performance.... this is it....
Ohhh c'mon what a terrific performances full of screaming, which i like it, it fix my mood during that time i watched the movie.
Jessica Biel was great...ohhhhhhhhhh.. i thought i never found any other like Jennifer Garner....and Jennifer Lopez...Another "J" on the row.!! I'm fun watching those blood exploding, the legs were cut-off, and the chasing scene of Erin (Jessica) and Leatherface (that face really looks scary)...
A place of nowhere... just one killer but almost are enemy.
I'm totally got stock on my seats an keep holding hold...
You cant ask more for the performance of Jessica Biel, actually she is nominated for Best Actress.
Its not more a remake. A sequel of the original..
Wrong Turn (2003)
Getting screwed of same plot lines...........
Wow another prophetic-scene movie did....
I've seen few movies like this same story and almost plot line... It did well, I'm not surprised for the scenes. Just a little with the help of sound and background.
The chasing with the fellas like in " Texas Chainsaw Massacre " with a love teams like Kevin Zeggers and Lindy Booth. They also a love team in "Dawn of the Dead"..........
The 84 minutes didn't feel me bad. Despite of usually used plot, i appreciate the movie. A strong lead female star were luckily survive the horrifying adventure of her life!!!!! (just like Jessica Biel)
The Village (2004)
From Academy Award nominees...
Its a sort of a "new story" for suspense movie... I like it but i expect a lot of shocking scenes but unfortunately their isn't. But a good works, inspite of my expectation the movie done well... A quite dull moment i experienced....
I really like the performance of Bryce Dallas Howard which actually a new comer... I also expect Sigourney's acting ability should seen.
From the Academy Award-nominated writer, director and modern-day master of suspense M. Night Shyamalan (Nominee: Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, "The Sixth Sense". 1999), THE VILLAGE is a riveting, edge-of-your-seat chiller with a stellar ensemble cast! As his isolated, tight-knit community lives in mortal fear of an oppressive evil inhabiting the forbidden woods just beyond their tiny village, one determined man (Joaquin Phoenix) dares to boldly step into the unknown and confront the astonishing truth!
Enteng Kabisote: Okay ka fairy ko... The legend (2004)
As a local film...well-done
I've seen the previous Okay ka Fairy ko movies and obviously the special effects improves (not to mention the 300 million budget for the effects only!!! how true is this?..)The lead stars done it well I'm quite disappointed regarding the appearance of Kristine Hermosa and a very clear shot from Enteng's enemy wearing a harnes (intentionally they used to cover it with a spider web something like that)
All in all i would rather say the movie was well-made(considering as a local film) but not as brilliant.
But here are some scene makes me distract: the flying horse scene, the talking horse, the sword they used.
I would rather choose Lastikman for best in special effects than this one.
But still i will rate it 8 out of 10
Feng Shui (2004)
The First Asian horror film that really scare me. Six weeks on box office!!!
I've watched a lot of Asian horror film but it makes me boring (quite) well not all by the way. This film really scare me, not all filipino made horror film can do like this."The aura of the film is so amazing looks like in the American place" is set in a modern time."Well Kris gave it all as what she said in her show the buzz."I felt the entire film" this is it at last i found a local horror film that scare me really.
I will recommend this movie to everyone(it is also show in selected states of the USA.
Providing a nice special effects (lets consider it as a local film so don't expect more) both leadstar done their best to suit what the director and the story want to be appear
