Supernatural: First Blood (2017)
We're not trapped out here with you..
Sometimes it's nice to be reminded that the brothers can handle regular law enforcement - or in this case black ops. No, this episode doesn't have a supernatural aspect to it but that's honestly why it's refreshing. We see them conquer werewolves and vampires every season... but seeing them outsmart government elite soldiers really reminds you how badass they are. "We're the guys who save the world." ;)
Hacks (2021)
Jean Smart is everything!!!
Jean is amazing to watch. The writing on this show is so great. Her character is a typical Las Vegas Diva but also relatable and hilarious. There are some real moments on this show that tug at heartstrings amongst all the comedy. I was hooked by episode 1, can't wait to see how the rest of the season plays out!
Moxie (2021)
If you like women empowerment..
This is such a cute movie... I hope all young women watch and feel a little more empowered than they did yesterday. Girls need to stick together.
Bridgerton (2020)
Couldn't care less...
..about any of the characters?! This might be the first show where by the finale I don't like or care about any character in the show. Someone go help these writers.
Misfits: Episode #1.4 (2009)
Best of the series
One of the best episodes of the series. I love it because all the characters are in this episode despite them having met. Also, great soundtrack.
Misfits (2009)
Keep watching
My first watch I hated everything after season 2. Then my husband kept watching and rewatching the show and eventually I watched all the way through with him. It's so funny. If you love the show for what it is you will love all seasons but nobody will disagree that seasons 1&2 are the best. It doesn't have to stop there though! Please give it a try. This show is beautifully written.
The Women (2008)
Rom com dram
Debra Messing's character giving birth made me laugh so hard tears came out of my eyes. It is still one of the funniest moments I can recall in a movie. The movie as a whole is watchable if you're into rom com drams.
A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)
Great remake
I mean I've watched the original every October for years and this remake is definitely better... I don't understand the negative reviews. I think the original has horrible acting and a rushed plot toward the end. This remake has a tighter plot and better effects. I now watch this remake every October over the original because it's just too boring/cheesy in comparison.
House at the End of the Street (2012)
The ending....?
I honestly didn't mind this movie until the ending. They say Ryan went to live with his aunt at age 7.. okay so that explains why the neighbors (who know everything about everyone) thought the child living with them was Carrie Anne. But the neighbors also don't realize Carrie Anne is a boy?!?!!? A boy who fights with his parents constantly saying he's not a girl?!?! How would no one notice that? Also, the drug use of the parents was like one short take? I get the parents are the ones to blame for Ryan being messed up but what about the aunt?? What about the neighbors?!?! I just can't believe nobody in this town would see this family all the time and not get what was happening. Honestly the movie was great until the ending. Horrible on the writers part because they could've made it make sense in that last scene and it would've had a much better rating overall.
The Umbrella Academy (2019)
Season two is a must see..
Season one was good...but season two got the budget it needed & I feel like all the people involved in season one watched it and corrected what they needed to for season two. There's not one dull moment in the second season. I'm so happy with it& highly recommend it!!!
Grey's Anatomy: Poker Face (2011)
Richard
I really loved the shows re write of Richard out of Chief of Surgery. I thought it'd be weird At first, but this episode shows how comedic the plot can be if he's just "one of the surgeons". Also, makes me like his character even more that he cuts back due to Adele being sick.
