Barfi! (2012)
An Indian Version of Chaplin's hilarious act.
A rare occasion when i watched a movie two times before i write about it, this was to be done because i don't want to miss on any detail of this beautifully crafted, excellently captured, and tremendously expressed. this movie have every feeling, love, happiness, friendship, sadness, madness, innocence, comedy, jealousy, insecurity, naive, and most of all the beautiful performances by every character in the movie, talk about music, that's there after every reasonable gap and at a proper place, so the songs go with the flow of the story. one of the pritam da's best work so far, beautifully written and sung songs. mohit chauhan yet again with title song gives the opening stroke to the movie. Talk about Ranbeer Kapoor, he has grown so much within past few year that no can say that this boy has his debut in 2008, watching him doing comedy is like watching a motion pictures of Charlie Chaplin, he has performed so well that every performance is impossible to carry without his. other character who left a mark are Saurabh Shukla(Inspector) & Priyanka Chopra(Jhilmil) These two character never went under the cloud of Ranbeer, This movie had few mistakes and there are few scenes taken exactly from some movies, like the whole character of mother is taken from The Notebook, Her every scene is a part of that movie and is been played in same way no modifications had been done. The death scene in the end was also from the Notebook. few comic scenes are taken from Chaplin's earlier movies like Modern Times. thus have to give it 9 stars out of ten, but this movie is worth watching.
Gangs of Wasseypur (2012)
Like Father Like Son.
A much awaited and anticipated movie of the year, well as i went in to watch the movie, the flick starts with gunshots and carries gunshots throughout the story lane, the base of the story is genuine and after watching this part you can't wait to watch the next part. the movie will keep you on your seats till it ends. the best thing or character in the movie is manoj bajpai, Great job one of the best of his career. his dialogues, his moves(when he hits over durga), and his ways of killing and his bare cruelty which people loves. the slang is used as a medium of expression in this entertainer, everyone in this movie has done there part to the perfect part, the cast is beautifully picked, and in the cast the lead villain is played by Tigmanshu Dhulia(director of Paan Singh Tomar), which was again a surprise element. as per story and cast were beautiful so were all the scenes of the movie. every scene of the movie is complete unlike some of bollywood movies(delhi-6, oops) and most of all the story is taken through time gap so beautifully that you won't be able to catch the difference between the old and new actors. this movie is worth watching and will make you laugh with the pervert sense and will make you understand the movie with the help of commentary. based on some of real incidents the movie is a real entertainer and can be called sholay of this decade. this will bot be forgiven this easily. this will give your minds a blow for lifetime.
Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum (2012)
A story of two failures trying to make things right.
Here's an average sequel to a super hit(on fiscal terms) kya kool hain hum as 3/5th of the leading star cast is the same the difference is created by the babes, much hotter this time and there is the uprooted level of lame jokes which were not much in the previous part, as the previous part was one of its kind during its tenure its sequel is one in a million as every other movie is using innuendo slang to create unearned humor in the flicks, as the movie proceeds this one is slightly better in screenplay than the previous part and yes the locations are cheap but good, Ritesh Deshmukh has done his average bid in the flick and Tushar kapoor after giving his Golmaal touch in few scenes has done his best justice to the character(of a struggling actor). the innuendos used in whole movie were nothing new and every one following jokes on facebook will recognize them as far as the the only few good roles we talk about in the movie were of anupam kher and chunky pandey who had done total justice to the roles and make you laugh every time they are on screen. though a bearable movie but prefer taking a friend with you so that when you get bore you have someone to talk to.
Joker (2012)
A story of a village's struggle to get on the map of the country it is in.
Well here in this movie we can see that there was a certain base in the story, as shirish kunder decide to move ahead a level after tees maar khan, as the story(or whatever it is) proceeds we saw some guy dressed as a pumpkin and some halo-ween costumes and yes some hoax created about the aliens. yes this movie does not worth to be a movie in any sense, there are lame jokes, bad acting, poor akshay had gotten one chance to save his downfall after rowdy rathore, this will surely give him a downfall and a very big one too. about sonakshi i would say, people want to see something more please do something other than falling in love with the hero. rest i'll give it 1 star.
