Good watch
10 December 2023
Well made film. I Missed the film at Mumbai film festival but good to see it in theatres.

Good direction acting production and post. Must watch. The film used a good balance between loudness and silence which is rarely done in Bollywood movies.

Films like this should come from India and get international acclaim, hopefully more will come out.

Probably the story lies between fiction and documentary and in half an hour of watching I was immersed into the story and became a part of it. We can't say the things told in the film may have actually happened. Never know.

It must be watched on the big screen.

Mostly bad Acting and overdone Camera Work
9 December 2023
The begning and ending is good, but inbetween everything is made in a very uninteresting way.

Looks like a 5 year old kid was operating the camera. Random camera movement, zoom .. May be this is a creative decision but this spoilt teh expirence of watching a good film. It just gives a bad headache when you watch on big screen.

I watched it at the international film festival of India 2023 as the closing film. Sad to see that most of the audiance dropped half way through the film, The rest were using mobile or sleeping.

The story was interesting for audiance interested in boxing, but if this was done in a more audiance friendly way, it would have become a great film.

Skater Girl (2021)

Badly made from a brilliantly stolen story based on true events
11 November 2022
From the first shot itself, amateur direction skills is written on screen with lifelessness/lack of depth and reality in every character.. (Except Chottu probably). The story is not also engaging and every scene is predictable shot by shot: even the masala they have added in the movie. The movie looks like a TV serial than an engaging movie.

The story looks like written by an amateur writer without looking into detail. And probably the story is stolen from the life of Asha Gond and Ulrike Reinhard. The producers/writer/directors did not even have the basic courtesy to credit them. (The selfish producers did not want to think how this girl would have felt)

The film makers tried to make it funny based (Inspired) on scenes from many other movies but it did not work out in a cohesive way.

Moreover it looks like the they want to portray India as country with really bad villagers and only the west can save India.

They could have done this a lot better if this was an original idea.
