NOS4A2 (2019)
Waisted 5 hours
Filled with cliches. Dumb decisions. Full with propaganda. Slow, slow, slow progressing plot. All men inside are either jellyfish, stupid or evil.
Away (2020)
Unbelievable, forced-diversity-filled, amateur hour
I have been thinking lately - "why bother?". Why bother even watch these forced, artificial, flat, shallow series, born in the mind of recently out of college feminist individuals?!
First - the movie is utterly unbelievable from a technical, HR and training perspective.
Second - it is filled with forced diversity that even feels fake.
Third - the depth of this incredible jewel is more like a soap opera - everybody is complaining all the time, and each single minute is filled with tears...
Just waisted an hour and a half of my life... sheesh
The Aeronauts (2019)
Politically correct hogwash
Another politically correct misrepresentation of history events. Main character is a woman instead of the man that actually risked everything for the progress of mankind. Just skip that pc trash and find something else to watch
Titans (2018)
Amateur hour
The show has an amazing start. Then everythibg declines rapidly, even the CGI. It is filled with shallow gimmicks to stretch the time. It almost put me to sleep at a certain point.
A Discovery of Witches (2018)
Very intriguing plot with superb cast
I just watched two episodes, and I have to admit that I liked them much. The cast is perfect for the movie, especially the leads. Their performance is exquisite so far. You also can feel a bit of melancholy. There are no "Hollywood" type CGI effects in the series. Everything is normal, calmer and close the reality in comparison to the usual vampire flick. I'd strongly recommend it.
Tomb Raider (2018)
Proof that the touch of Hollywood can spoil anythting
Amazing start, good action, deep enough character development. After 30 minutes the production becomes completely predictable and starts following the cliche guidelines of an low budget movie designed to "kill time" for the average house wife.
Despite Alicia Vikander's great performance going further the story becomes extremely boring, I assume sensed by the director, who decided to flood all milestones in it with too much drama and extremely irritating 80s-cheap-movie dramatic music.
On top of everything else, the film deviates from the game story completely.
Well, it is not a total wreck but if you have played the game and enjoyed it even a little, you do not need to suffer this glorified hiccup of a production.
