You've hit the meat of the series, Yuichi is killing it this episode and it seems the next episode is great too. Nice to see the characters & story evolve.. the ending is something special. Honestly the best bits just like as in Deathnote are where the rationale behind the decision making get explained, this is a notch above the rest of the episodes thus far.

Female lead episode

It's the girls time to shine with females doing most of the heavy lifting this episode, the guys generally bumbling around and a bunch of woke stuff thrown in as well. Pretty average, maybe giving it six is overrating it.

I don't think there's anything that comes close to this for the sheer entertainment it provides. The only thing I have a problem with is with
Max basically being a mute, would've preferred some more charm and wit
from the character and maybe even a different actor.. aside from that
everything is amazing.
Give it a shot

Not a great first episode, had me confused what was going on, currently re-watching it after finishing episode 11. I do wish they did a Berserk with this and made the first part of the episode a sequel to episode 11, I would recommend watching it afterwards anyway if just for one thing that is said at the beginning and the general vibe of it. That said, you probably want to know why I'm writing this.. Simply put, give it a shot. It might take a few episodes for it to hit you but when it does I think you'll find one of the gems of 2021. Beautifully animated, scored and hell the CGI is very very nice too. The characters are cool, the emotions real and I can't imagine there are many who wouldn't be itching to see what happens next. Rate it better than Vivy, you'll understand about half way through. Enjoy.
Not really enjoyable

I'll give it four stars because the animation and OST is alright but everything else is meh. These aren't the same characters as any previous He-man show and it clearly shows. Everything you read below is correct and I'll just sum it up to say Kevin Smith and anyone else involved with this doesn't understand He-man and had no right to touch it. There was a right way to go about this and that chance is gone now I think. I hope Kevin Smith's career tanks because of this and everyone remembers how he destroyed something he clearly didn't understand just like Rian did with LTJ.
Ending was mint

Good episode, leads directly to the Mugen Train movie.
Great scene on the train, the camera angles, the soundtrack and the sound effects get you pumped for what literally comes next seconds after the episode ends in the story. I expect the film will be amazing.

Wasting time on Cole. Nobody gives a crap about him.
Why create this character? People don't need a family man central diverse casted character. This is a video game movie who you making this for? Doesn't seem like the people that are watching it. Great effects cool fights some nice casting here n there that's about it. Felt rushed.

Nothing wrong with this episode.
As far as the re-introductions go, AFAIA we haven't been told all their hero names so I quite liked that, I certainly didn't know most of them by those names at all and I suspect most don't either, why pick on that?
Like I said nothing wrong with this episode it wasn't Naruto quality filler at all. Nice set up for what looks to be a pretty good second episode based on the imdb rating.

Not super gripping or suspenseful but just a good all round by the books disaster film, good acting, reasonably entertaining, never boring. I was expecting worse based on everything I've seen and heard about it, but it's a solid watch.
Great
