There isn't much about the plot that will make you be on the edge of your seat, but it's enough to keep you entertained for an hour. It's just about Lizzie and her sister trying to live their lives after Lizzie's murder trial, where she was found not guilty of killing her father and stepmother. All in all, this isn't the kind of show that you'll be making a priority to watch, but it's not a bad show to watch if you're just flipping through channels. Christina Ricci does a great job playing Lizzie Borden. Christina Ricci is a timeless actress. I don't think she's aged in 20 years. Clea DuVall, the actress who plays Lizzie's sister, Emma Borden, also does a great job.

I knew that the show was going to differ from the book in some was, but the whole entire second season (pretty much) was not in the book at all. The way this ended is total crap if they don't renew it for a 3rd season. They left Julia back there, and where the hell are they going with Melanie? I read that this season was supposed to be left open ended, but it was going to clear some things up. I think it left more questions than gave answers. Like I said, I seriously hope they renew the season. It would be a crime against Stephen King to leave it like that. In my personal opinion, I think it's total BS that they deviated from the book THAT much. I mean, the first half was like the book, with quite a few slight changes, but then the writers just went crazy.

Right from the start you can tell that this is going to be, at least, a bad movie with awful acting. But then it just kept getting worse and worse. The characters were not acting like normal people. Normal people would have made completely different decisions. It's completely found footage. Which I wouldn't have minded. I actually still like those types of movies, so as you can tell, my standards are pretty low as it is, and this movie was just AWFUL. From the writing to the acting to the directing, all the way around, AWFUL! I wouldn't even recommend watching this movie if you were bored. You're better off taking a nap, or picking another movie... ANY movie, as long as it's not this one.

As far as the haunted house genre of movie, this one was not one of the best in it's field, by far, however there have been much worse. The acting was actually not that bad at all. The actress who plays "Gaby" also has a role on the MTV show Teen Wolf. This is also not the first role for any of the cast, so more or less, they get the job done. While I understand that this was based off something that happened at a real crematorium, I believe they went about explaining everything in a what that was not very believable. I hate the type of movies where the lead characters do plan stupid stuff just to the movie doesn't end. Everyone knows that no one in their right mind would do something "like that" but they always end up doing it anyway. I say, if you're bored, you have nothing to lose. Just don't spend money on it.

This movie was just SOOOO bad I could hardly make it through. It was covered with unnecessary parts just to add filler, which wouldn't have been so bad if the "filler" wasn't so poorly done and so obvious.
The twist at the end was the only thing that made this movie a 2 out of 10 instead of a 1 out of 10, but the twist wasn't even that great or dramatic. There were many parts in the movie that left you wondering, "Why?" Then when you get your answer, you could not care less anymore. So much of the movie did not make a bit of sense. I was ready for this movie to be over less than 30 minutes into it. Don't waste your time unless you have absolutely NOTHING else to do.

Is weirdness a word???

I was just wondering if it was a word since I cannot think of a good word that describes the feeling I got from this movie. Weirdness, will have to do. A girl goes camping with some friends and brings her brother with her. She's a protective big sister, but with good reason. Some weird stuff starts happening when they are out there, then when they get home, things get even more weird and scary (for the people in the movie, not the viewer.) It's not a scary movie, really. I know at times it tried to be, but it just never happened. The thing that annoyed me a little bit was that the movie held my attention, and I thought it was interesting at first. Then in about 20 or 30 minutes, I realized that this movie had totally lost my attention. So, I guess it starts off good and then gets soooo, very dull, then it picks back of a little for the end, but by the time the end comes, you're so ready for it to be done, you don't care at all what happens.

It would be able to hold your attention for about as long as the movie lasts, and then you're ready for it to be done with. I, personally, thought that it had a "Little Red Ridding Hood" (the new one)feel to it with also made it a little cheesy too. But then again, a lot of people like that "cheesy" type of film. The type of film would be considered Action, Horror, Comedy. There is some gore in the film during fight scenes, but it's not that bad. All the characters where played well. I just wasn't a big fan of the story line, and how it busts out with something that's like, "Whaaaaaat, that's not supposed to be in THIS movie is it?" LOL

To me, the movie had the potential to be good, but it stopped just shy of being OK. It starts off with a businessman who is a total douche bag and he "almost" gets into an accident. After that, he starts seeing things and people who have already died. He meets up with people whom he's wronged in the past and sees how they have turned out and what happened to them. It's basically one of those types of movies where someone's dead and doesn't know it, and he has to right his wrongs within 24 hours. There's no sex or nudity. There's some cussing and some of the scenes could be frightening if you are sensitive to certain things. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this movie. Maybe the only time that I would is if you are desperate and don't mind if a movie puts you to sleep.
