Svart krabba (2022)
This movie is actually less enjoyable than advertisements for Ajax
I didn't think it would be possible, but an incredible achievement has been made: a two hour long movie that is actually more boring than watching Ajax commercials for two hours straight.
Why? It's predictable. It is impossible to figure out what the main story line is about. The acting is on par with the Ajax lady from the ads. The movie doesn't seem to have any point to it, whatsoever.
I feel sad for all the people who have spent their time creating it. They could have created more value by picking strawberries.
Altered Carbon (2018)
Season 1 was passable, but season 2 is horrible
For some reason, the script writer has been unable to create anything entertaining out of the universe provided in this series for season 2.
Season 1 was reasonable enough to be interesting, but the second season has no depth and just consists of a lot of repetetive chasing around, where the antagonists are trying to catch our heroes. You don't develop any attachment to anyone in the series and it doesn't seem that it is trying to teach any moral lessons. Even killing off the last of a rare species is just done without any contemplation. Come on! Who wrote this script!?!?
Turbulence 3: Heavy Metal (2001)
Actors not acting, script errors and an absent minded director = Turbulence 3
The people that made this movie must have forgotten what point they were trying to make. We see a FBI agent that starts out arresting a hacker as he is breaking into some sort of video network. The FBI agent played by Gabrielle Anwar who has the looks of Bambi meets secretary from anonymous fashion show (may her acting career rest in peace after this) arrives at the scene completely alone and doesn't report anything to her HQ when she has done the arrest. Oh gee. Thats just how they do in real life?? NOT.
Not much later they cooperate trying to solve an unraveling murder case. Still in the hackers flat and still without informing anyone - until she talks to her superior by accident. And guess what - he has also started working on the same case. What a coincidence! The movie goes on and on with the same completely unbelievable and inconsistent plot. Everything is out of place and phony down to every little detail.
The executive producer should have paid more attention from the very start and terminated the production, since this is one of the movies that should never have been made.
The Secret Agent (1996)
This is a horrible movie
This movie has everything that ought to make it worth watching. A large selection of well known actors and an interesting story that takes place in London 1880. Nowadays, it even has references to present history of terrorism and the power struggle between nations.
But alas. It fails on nearly every account possible. You don't feel engaged in the lives of the people in the movie. The music is lousy and there isn't really any suspense. The whole thing looks like a movie project from first grade at some school for movie directors.
I bet that Gerard Depardieu, Robin Williams, Patricia Arquette and Jim Broadbent are looking back at this lousy movie as the absolute low point in their careers.
If you are really enthusiastic about investigating the border between good storytelling and extremely bad taste, this is it.
Lost Souls (2000)
Booooring
This movie is simply too predictable.
It runs along the "the devil is coming" lines, with other movies in the genre being "Judgement Day" and "Stigmata", but it completely fails to bring in any new elements.
Many of the things that are supposed to be scary, are too old fashioned and poorly cut by the editor, so you are left with an impression of a handful actors sticking to a manuscript without putting any effort into their performance.
For me, this movie rates on level with any 2 hour slow motion movie picturing a cup of jello hitting the floor.
Oooohhhh! Bluuuuub-bluuuuub-bluuuuuuub-bluuuuuub-bluuuuuub. Splat.
