Women's Murder Club: FBI Guy (2008)
The Speech
When Jacobi tells what every partner should say to their colleague, man or woman in that situation, was always something I wanted to hear. One character thinking they're a lone wolf when in actual fact they are not just putting themselves in danger but everyone who is around them is in the line of fire. The acting in that one scene by the two actors was so well done. Emotional and heartfelt. One character knowing exactly what they're saying without being condescending and the other character taking to heart what they are saying and actually listening to the intended message. We're partners and we should be keeping each well being in mind.

Fly Up won me over
Decent story, difficult subject to tackle. Thought there was too much of the characters' misunderstanding and/or preconceptions that slowed the story down. Never read the webtoon it's based off of ... But once the song "Fly Up" was introduced they had me ... both versions. Art was of the caliber that should be standard of this style of anime. Hoping like most there will be a season 2, just so the MC can vocalize his appreciation of his mother (good mothers should be reminded how loved they are for the love and sacrifice they chose to give). I would have originally given it a 6 but That song bumped it up (even though I have no idea what the lyrics are). First The God of High School (when is series 2 coming) and now this, looking forward to what the Korean anime studios have to offer.

The supporting cast saved this form being worse
Without the supporting cast I would have given this a 4 or 3 stars. The concept was somewhat original, beats were predictable, leads moved the movie along but almost as instruments to do so not as participants. The duo of Kumail and Beck, honestly, saved the film for me. Would like to seek that pairing again if the stars aligned in the future. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. IMO the film is something you would play in the background while doing housework. Which is exactly what I was doing.
You Again (2010)
Written by a 14yo
This was bad. Very simplistic story with simple minded characters. A very competent cast, which created expectations that were dashed. Were the writers channeling their 14yo selves to come up with this poor excuse for a story. Even children hold grudges longer than these contrived adult characters. And to have Dwayne Johnson be an uncredited actor is the cherry on top of this silliness (personally was hoping to see him pop up at the end for a minute). Don't know anyone that would suspend their disbelief for any of this, I recommend using it when watching nearly any Fast/Furious. You'll have more fun.
