Not very necessary to tell

This documentary is included in the First Blood Trilogy DVD. I saw that. I only think it is a bonus material for the DVD. If you are a die-hard First Blood fan. You may get interested in it.

For a DVD bonus material, it was not very full. The things that are told in this short film were not very precious. They are general information about producing the movie.

The old Stalone in this was...how to say, very good at telling stories. In fact, they shot for a whole long film of making this movie but they cut it for three to add into each First Blood movie. This one is short. I saw it for fun

Daylight (1996)

It proves Stalone is old!

You may get confused when you see this summary. Stalone was still powerful and straight in this action movie. Yes, I agree with that. But I believe you can see the tiredness in his face and in his whole body. He is no more a hard man of First Blood at all from this movie on.You can't deny this movie is not necessary to shot just like you can't deny that first blood is a classic.

The story was simple and we may guess the ending at about 20 mins.So I don't want to mention anything about the script. In fact, the way to the ending was not bad, and sometimes you even got tense with the development of the script. Stalone acted well and so did the other actors. And we may look forward to the ending.But the ending made the whole movie a 5 stars rated instead of a 7 stars. The movie ended in a great hurry. When people were waiting for the great escape of the hero and the survivals, it ended suddenly. The director and screenwriter did not made it seriously. Very disappointed.

You may choose see or not, I recommend not.

Freeze Me (2000)

Minority Japan Good Stuff in recent years

I like this movie because it will make people think. What society should do for protecting women from abusement? Who will be charge for taking the responsibility for this kind of matter? Or there is nothing we can do about this? A girl who had been raped by a few guys in school could not escape from the past after entering the society. The rapers kept coming to her...... The girl has a bitter life which she can not really control what is happening. That is a shame!!We should do something for women!!!In fact, the girl is not a kind character by which the screenwriter made. But if she is a girlfriend of one of us, what we could do? Just simply give up her? we should really think after seeing this movie!

The Eye 3 (2005)

How dare Pang brothers make out such a stupid movie!!!!!!!!!!! I am disappointed !!

The first The Eye of the series was very creative and all the cast and crews did very good work. The second one was not as good as the first one. But Shu Qi's acting and the whole story is at least a horror film. But the third one....how to say, I think they can stop making the series.

Stupid lines, dull acting, dated horrors, the film contains all the bad parts of a awful hong kong horror film. I don't know Pang brothers want to make the film a horror or a comedy.

I guess the Pang brothers may have been affected by some stupid company bosses. The whole film is not their type. If you love the Eye series,don't watch this one.

Shark Tale (2004)

Why people ignore this good cartoon???!!!

I still remember the bad words from the film reporters and the cartoon fans when the film was on. I don't know why now after I enjoyed the 90 mins. Shark Tale is a good cartoon film, better than Finding Nemo. A little less better than Monster Inc.

The spoofs of other movies in Shark Tale are very talented. I mean, the writer of the movie did a very good work. The gang of the sharks part is the best of all. I enjoy seeing those funny shark gangsters.

The film is an honest one, it tried to make you laugh. Finding Nemo is too childish compared with Shark Tale.

At least, Shark Tale is as good as Shrek!!!

The Full Monty (1997)

British Style, charming!

I'm a fan of British music and British movie. I LOVE Lock stock and two smoking barrels, trainspotting, snatch, and some other British movies. I think Britain is so different with the Hollywood. So I like Full Monty.

I even cried in some chapters of the movie. I don't consider it as a comedy but a light tragedy. They have to work that sort of job to make living. The whole simple story shows us a scene of the mid-90s Britain which contained a lot of disappointing things. When I saw that old father dresses off, i don't have a word to say.

What's your feeling after seeing this movie, happy sad or something else.

Hide and Seek (2005)

Good except the ending.

I don't know why Robert De Niro kept taking those dull roles. Actually, he played much better than did in "Godsend". Dokota Fanting did as well as she've done before in other movies.

This is a normal Hollywood production. The screen writer wants to give a surprising ending. But he failed, the ending didn't make any sense. It even made the movie worse.

If you do like Dakota, i recommend it to you since she was distinguished in this movie. She acted several cute girls in the previous movies, but this time she changed her role.

The movie will not scare you or surprise you, just watch it if you have much spare time.

Cala, My Dog! (2003)

Pure Beijing Scene!!!

I like this movie.

It contains several real scenes in the Beijing lower class families. Although Beijing is a big city in China now, there are still some poor families with some members in have some unrealistic dreams. But Beijing people treat their dogs really seriously. They think dogs are part of the family just like Americans do.

But Ge You's role has some disease in his heart. His love to the dog is not the real love. Kala is only a mental object of his own. He depends on the dog. He is a failure man.

If you want to know something about the traditional Beijing life.This movie may help.

Azumi (2003)

Cute actress, but no more!

I am a Chinese so that I am very familiar with the Hong Kong action movies what are much better than this Japanese one.I should say that maybe they don't have a good action director.

From this Japanese action film, we can learn that the director tried his best to create a great movie. And some of his ideas of designing the action part were just OK. But he was not that good to make a great movie. It was just becoming a common one.

The whole story went like what we can guess. But the cute actress made me finish it.

No surprising and regret!

One Missed Call 2 (2005)

I even got completely disappointed about Japanese Horrors.

I can clearly remembered the frightening moments I have when I saw the Chakushin ari 1, which is considered as one of the most classic Japanese horror movies. But this one,the following one, is just like something went wrong in the writer and the director.

The whole "horror" story went in a very gentle way. I can say that I was not frightened even one single time. The actors played dull and stupid. this is an horror movie that makes me sleepy.

The director was changed to a rookie who is completely unknowledgable about directing a movie.(He just made some series before). And the bad script again make the movie die.

I even got completely disappointed about Japanese Horrors.

Open Water (2003)

Special but still not good

I once heard that this movie was popular in that year's Sundance Film Festival.The message leads me to this movie.I wanna find how different it is from a normal Hollywood production.

This event is based on true story, which makes me more interested. But I have to admit that this kind of movies should be produced by Hollywood merchants. Little budge might not be enough for making the audience frightened. There are stupid actings and dull dialogues. But at least,it is different from Jaw or something like that.

The actress's one nude scene makes no sense.It is still a dull movie.Horror movie should not go like this.

Fatal Attraction (1987)

Michael Douglas's first in-trouble role.

I'm from China. My English is not very good. So the first time I comment a movie I chose a simple one. I saw "Fatal Attraction" the day before.

I have seen a few of Michael Douglas's movies. And I found he kept taking the same kind script and role for himself. He was a lawyer who had another affair with an attractive woman. By which the relationship brought him a lot of troubles.Even make his life over.

I have to say that Michael had just given his basic performance, nothing special, and nothing would light his career at that moment. Meanwhile, Glen Close did a great job in the movie. We could touch her weird feeling, and her extreme mental troubles. You might even understand what she had done to Michael's family.

This story told that sometimes an unfaithful relationship not only brought one night sexual enjoyment, but also ruined one's life.
