Die Hart (2020)
DARN GOOD JOB TO ALL!
Kevin Hart just might start to surprise people in the near future. Die Hart seems to be a warm up for bigger things to come from him. Watch Die Hart! Each episode is only 8 mins long. If you don't like it...you only wasted 8 minutes.
The Invisible Man (2020)
Not scary....predictable...save your money!
Anybody who rated this higher than 5 needs to not be rating movies anymore!!
Obviously a Liberal agenda-
I waited and waited and waited for something to thrill me but it fell short every time!
10 minutes of character building may have helped because --PLOP-- The beginning of the movie must hope the viewer figures out on their own that "Tony Stark" went sideways. No other way to remotely explain it.
North by Northwest (1959)
Definition of excellence
I first heard about this film as I was attempting to watch the top 1000 movies of all time last Summer. I was apprehensive at first only because of the year made and the title was not appealing. After seeing that Alfred Hitchcock directed it, I was a bit relieved. Why do I think this is the greatest film of all time? (a) The plot is solid (b) The cinematography is eye candy (c) Not one hesitation in action. As I am watching the film I notice that every action sequence was original and therefore copied by every action film after 1959. Cary Grant dominates every seen. The dialog is brilliantly written and it's safe to say, no action film will ever come close to topping North by Northwest.
Ishtar (1987)
Painful to watch
Last time I watched this film before tonight was in 1995. It was just as painful now as it was then. I did not laugh even once, not a chuckle or a slight grin. Please only watch this movie if you are forced to watch it or it is on your list of "must watch" because your hand is forced. The plot is horrible and weak. The soundtrack is typical 80's elevator music trash. Cinematography is as barren as the desert scene on the box cover. Hoffman is a great actor but it seems the writers never afforded him a strong enough script to even shine. The Direction must have been on heavy drugs because there was no effort to make this film interesting as it progressed.
